That highway is home to Waterville USA, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Tiki's Mini Golf, Pirate's Island Adventure Golf, and a wealth of other fun attractions. Gulf State Park, with its tranquil nature paths and fishing pier, is half a mile east. Also within walking distance are Sea-N-Suds, The Hangout Gulf Shores, and several great shops and other restaurants. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean, spacious, and comfortable for our family, and the location on the 5th floor was very convenient. We also appreciated that there was never a long wait for the elevator and that the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of utensils and cookware. The balcony also had wonderful, comfortable seating. The only reason I didn’t give the condo 5 stars is that there are several other condos in the same building, at a similar price point, that appear to have more updated indoor furnishings. While everything was functional, much of the furniture in this unit showed some wear and felt a bit dated.That said, we had a nice stay and appreciated the cleanliness, space, and convenient location. With some updated furniture, this condo could easily be a 5-star stay.
