We were visiting Chillicothe for family business and was exactly what we needed. Clean, close to downtown, and communication with host was clear and easy.

Charming, neat and clean home. My only suggestion is to add brighter LED type light bulbs in the bathroom and maybe a hand held shower wand. Those items are helpful when you are a senior. If we need to be in Chillicothe for a couple days again we would definitely check availability.

Unfortunately the house was not what I expected. It smelled of mildew when I walked in and there were cobwebs all over, some I had to clean off to use outlets. I had booked for 2 nights and arrived late so just went to bed, only to wake up in morning to find a bug (small cockroach) on its back in the bathroom. Its legs were moving so still alive. I packed and left immediately and notified owner. When I asked if I would be credited for 2nd night since I left (was literally there for 12 hours) he refused, saying he was sorry for my experience but I was already "in the system" and he couldn't rent it out at that point. I was left paying over 400 for one night because because of poor conditions. Very disappointing.

Historic look with modern comfort. Everything you need for a nice stay- easy to find, quiet street, and just a short walk to Historic Chillicothe. Host is easy to reach and check in was supper simple! Highly recommend!

Positives: Perfect space for two adult family members. Close to downtown. I was able to park vehicle directly in front of house, every time. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Easy check in and check out process. Great host. Negatives: Very difficult to get a consistent temperature through out the house. Limited on dishes, cookware and appliances. On our second visit, the previous tenant clogged the tub drain with hair and the cleaner did not clean the catch.
