Condo was very spacious and everything worked. The condo deveopment (the Kanaloa) may be the nicest in west Hawaii. It is a little south of Kona to be quiet but not really remote. The grounds are gorgeous—like living in a botanical garden. It has three pools and direct shoreline access (unlike most condo developments). Supermarket and drugstore are a few minutes drive away. Development has 24 hour security. Our unit has limited ocean views but is steps away from the ocean pool with great seating for wave gazing. This is the third unit we have stayed in at this development. We would not stay anywhere else. It was built around 1980 and the decor of most units is sort of stuck there but that’s not important to us.
