Ponderosa at Aspen Village is conveniently located, without the hassle and noise of lakefront properties. The unit was spacious, well-maintained and clean. The only drawback was the ongoing road construction at several points around the property, but this is (hopefully) a temporary issue.

While the home was cute, clean and close the the softball fields making it convenient, the house was extremely hot and uncomfortable due to no air conditioning. The community rules are ridiculous and what is the point of paying for amenities with extreme restrictions and unnecessary for the quiet area. We didn’t use the club and didn’t want to with kids due to this. The out door pool had tiles falling off and sitting at the bottom of the pool. Locks on fences when we paid to stay there.The WiFi and service were not useful which was a struggle to update my team and their families for quick changes to a time sensitive matter.The master bathroom shower is set up causing the door to hit the toilet as you are backed in to a tiny confined spot to get in to the shower poor set up. Difficult for anyone that is larger than a size 5.Home owner uses 3rd party payment group and you cannot use credits for prior travels with Vrbo. I would not book again.

Comfortable, quiet get-away!

Overall, we loved our stay! Everything was clean when we arrived. It was very quiet and we loved how close it was to the golf course and state park. The only reason we are giving this a four rather than five star rating is that the pool and hot tub were being resurfaced during the time we stayed so we were not able to use them. One of the reasons we booked this property over other choices was because it listed it had a pool and hot tub so this was a bit disappointing but all in all, we were very happy with our stay otherwise and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
