The apartment features a typical mountain-style design at an elevation of about 1,700 metres. It measures approximately 50 square metres and can accommodate up to 4 people. The wooden ceilings and parquet floors complement the light-colored natural wood furniture. The rooms are heated with electric storage heaters that charge overnight. The basic Tyrolean kitchen adds to the cosy atmosphere and creates a particularly pleasant environment (firewood is not included in the rental price). The fully equipped kitchen includes tableware for 6 people, as well as an electric stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster, pizza oven, and much more. The living area is equipped with a TV, radio with cassette and CD player, a sofa bed, and a dining area. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a bunk bed, and a TV. An underground parking space is available. A ski school, ski rental, and ski service are located about 3 minutes from our apartment at the Plattenalm.

Description of the Zillertal Arena / Gerlosplatte: The Gerlosplatte ski area extends up to 2,040 m and offers groomed runs for families and experienced skiers alike, ensuring plenty of fun in the snow. Just a few metres away, the chairlift and cross-country ski trail invite you to enjoy carefree fun, and in the afternoon you can head out right in front of your apartment. 34 km of perfectly groomed trails are available at Gerlosplatte. Cross-country skiing is also a highlight at Gerlosplatte. Right below the residential complex, 18 km of groomed trails begin, inviting you to enjoy healthy physical activity with a view of the 3,000-meter peaks.

Hiking and Leisure: In Gerlosplatte, in the Kitzbühel Alps, the Hohe Tauern, or the Zillertal Alps, you’ll find an abundance of hiking destinations and mountain excursions. Hike along over 200 km of marked trails from valley to valley, from hut to hut, or from peak to peak. Safety and a hassle-free mountain experience are guaranteed by numerous certified mountain guides. Other recreational activities, such as tennis, biking, and a high-rope course, are available nearby.

Skiing Information: The magnificent mountains of the Zillertal are perfect for unlimited winter sports. With the same ski pass, another 150 km of ski runs are available, accessible without interruption from the Gerlosplatte to Zell am Ziller. The Zillertal Super Ski Pass can be customised to your preferences for all Zillertal lifts, with or without access to the Hintertux Glacier, up to an altitude of 3,286 metres.
