River Lily is nestled by the Chestatee River. This newly renovated cottage has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and is fully equipped. Relax on the scenic deck overlooking the river or sit among the huge shade trees. If you're adventurous try fishing from the back yard. River Lily is just minutes from quaint downtown Dahlonega and many wineries. Be sure to save time for catching up with family and friends while sitting around the large fire pit and relaxing by the river.

The River Lily sits on a 1.05 acres of wooded land with approximately 400 square feet of river frontage on the Chestatee River. The following wildlife has been observed or encountered on the property, but not limited to: deer, beavers, squirrels, turtles, herons, eagles, and black bears.

Patti is a fantastic host, and her property is absolutely beautiful! Her kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, and the bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Dahlonega!

Really beautiful area, cool river and cool host. The cottage was clean and spacious, everyone who came to visit was really impressed with the property and we definitely want to book again.

What a wonderful stay at the River Lily!! Patti is an amazing host and took the time to text us to make sure we had everything we needed. Our family of four stayed for a long weekend and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. We immediately felt right at home. It is even better than pictured online. This home is completely remodeled! It was immaculately clean and had comfy beds for a great nights sleep. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home. But you are also close enough to town to go out and eat at the wonderful restaurants in Dahlonega (highly recommend Shenanigans Restaurant) We also had pizza delivered one night while we sat out at the fire pit which is next to the river. I especially enjoyed sitting out on the back deck reading a book and enjoying nature. We can’t wait to book our next stay at the River Lily when we take our next trip to Dahlonega!! Thank you Patti for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

I am a native of Dahlonega, but moved away after college. I live in Franklin Tennessee, with my husband Tim and we have two grown children. Dahlonega will always be my hometown, and I am excited to share our
river house with you.

Why they chose this property

The property was bought in June 2025 and renovated. We began sharing it with others in November 2025. I chose this property because it’s a beautiful wooded lot, on a scenic river, that we can fish in and actually access, in addition to enjoying the river view.

What makes this property unique

It truly is a cute, cozy cottage with river frontage, access into the river, huge trees, and privacy.
