Place is quirky and cute. It’s a dog house for sure, little fuzz here and there but comfy and everything you could need. The kitchen is stocked with all the stuff and the bathtub with jets is great! Hot tub could use a scrub, and a maintenance for the jets but we enjoyed it.

Loved our stay here and would absolutely come back. The view from the deck and the yard are amazing and the location is terrific. Lovely open floorplan with a great kitchen. Matthew was a very responsive host!

Property could use some updates, couch, dining chairs, bed linens. Odd that refrigerator and pantry had half eaten food. Outdoor grills need a serious cleaning. Welcome binder needed.

There were a few things that concerned us. Overall, the space could have been a little cleaner. For example, one of the refrigerator shelves was dirty.The room just past the entrance has a small step. We tripped over it, so you may want to place a warning sign on the door or near the step to help prevent others from tripping.The host may also want to let guests know that the private driveway is easy to miss. We drove past it several times before getting out and walking back to find the entrance. Google Maps does not accurately identify the driveway location.The patio lights were not working, so we were unable to spend time outside in the evening. The views were stunning, but unfortunately the smoke from the fire affected the experience.Finally, we weren't sure whether other guests were staying on the property. Because of the studio and lower-level areas, it wasn't clear if the space was completely private or shared.Otherwise, it was a lovely place for a getaway. Despite those minor issues, we enjoyed our stay.

Ill say up front, this is a lovely property. Great location, nice house, beautiful views. Me and my friends were fairly dissapointed by how unkempt the house was. The couch and beds were visibly covered in dog hair. Two of us are allergic to pet dander so this was at the very least an unexpected annoyance. There was no mention in the description that a dog lives in the house and that we should expect dog hair to be present. Also, when we arrived the kitchen sink was dirty, and there was a dirty food container left in the sink. The microwave looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months and stank when i opened it. The fridge had half empty food containers in it, freezer was full, drawers in bedroom filled with some dudes clothes, bathroom drawers had used deodorant and someone's personal toiletries. There was no waste bin in the bathrooms, no tissue box anywhere in the house, no welcome binder with basic info. While the house was nice, with a nice fire place stocked well with wood, it felt more like crashing at the house of a single bro than staying at a thoughtful vacation rental. I reached out to the host after our stay to give them a heads up about how we feel and to see if we could get the cleaning fee refunded and there was zero response, so here's my review.

The house was very nice, and very close to all the things we were doing on our stay. The house is right up the street from Howarth park and 20 minutes from Safari West.The deck was wonderful, though some of the chairs were a little wobbly. The kitchen is beautiful but I had to look up the manual to learn how to use the Breville, because there is no regular coffee maker.Overall it was a good stay.

Great little house on a hill, nice breeze.Felt quite isolated, despite being near everything. Wonderful kitchen and deck.Awesome coffee maker…. Took a YouTube video to figure it out :)Prob really a two bedroom. But we had a great stay.

Thanks for staying, Torben! It is definitely a 3 br house! With the accordion doors it offers great flexibility with being able to have a large 2nd bedroom or 3 separate bedrooms, depending on the size of your party.
