Of course, finding the right accommodation is part of the experience—and that’s exactly what we offer you! The house is located in the front row of the upper section of the holiday complex. You can park your car right in front of the house, and there’s a lockable storage shed for bicycles or ski gear. The rooms, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, are spread across two floors and offer a stunning view of the water, forest, and meadows. In the spacious, open-concept living/dining area and from the adjoining furnished balcony, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy this stunning view. While enjoying a delicious meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen—in the recliner or on the couch in the living room by the electric fireplace—or on the balcony with a glass of wine as the sun sets...
The perfect day! Of course, a perfect day calls for a perfect night. Two bedrooms in the basement, each featuring comfortable box-spring beds (1 HG2 and 1 HG3 bed in each, plus extra-long comforters), ensure a restful night’s sleep. These rooms also feature floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto the terrace, which is equipped with sun loungers. Also located in the basement is the bathroom with a large shower, bathtub, and sauna. There’s also a storage room with a washing machine, dryer, and clothes rack. Let’s go!

Just a few minutes’ drive away, a bit off the beaten track from the tourist hotspots of Willingen and Winterberg, lies the small village of Heringhausen, nestled in the midst of a lush green natural area and situated directly on the beautiful Lake Diemel.
Whether you’re seeking peace and quiet, looking for an active holiday, or travelling with the whole family, you’ll experience breathtaking views and unspoiled nature on certified hiking trails and designated mountain bike and cycling routes. For a day trip, crystal-clear streams and romantic villages with historic buildings in the immediate vicinity are waiting to be discovered by you.
The Fort Fun Adventure Park in Bestwig, Winterberg, Berleburg Castle, and Willingen—a town known far beyond the state borders for its lively nightlife—are also nearby.
Heringhausen and the Diemelsee holiday village are still (!) considered absolute hidden gems in the region. However, the local tourist information centre has already undergone an extensive renovation and offers its guests—in addition to the super-friendly and helpful staff—an indoor and outdoor swimming pool with an adjacent wellness and sauna area, as well as an interactive exhibition about Lake Diemelsee.
