Welcome to the newly renovated Diemer Guesthouse in Margetshöchheim. Our guesthouse is located in a quiet, central area. The building is all on one level and features barrier-free access to the ground-floor holiday apartment. The property is enclosed. The garden features a bike shed, an outdoor seating area, and a large, sunny terrace with an awning. Parking is available off-site. Margetshöchheim—known as the “Garden Village on the Main”—is located about 10 km from Würzburg. Nearby, you’ll find a supermarket that also offers many organic products, two butcher shops, one post office with stationery, a Greek restaurant, family doctors’ offices, sports facilities, scenic walking paths along both banks of the Main, several children’s playgrounds, a charging station for electric cars and e-bikes, and a bus stop with service to Würzburg and the swimming lakes, as well as to Erlabrunn and Leinach. On the other side of the Main River lies Veitshöchheim, known for the Franconian Carnival. In the historic town centre is the famous Rococo garden with its castle. Along the Main River promenade, you’ll find a Kneipp facility, a large playground for young explorers, a mini-golf course, and the boat dock: Veitshöchheim – Würzburg. Heading north, about 1.7 km away near Erlabrunn, you’ll find a local recreation area with two natural swimming lakes and a large sunbathing lawn with barbecue facilities and play areas. At the Erlabrunn: Badesee/Nord bus stop, the Radsprinter, Line 400—Erlabrunn–Würzburg–Ochsenfurt–Röttingen and back—begins its route. On the ground floor/entrance area is a large entryway. You’ll find a well-equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and freezer, a stove with an oven, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, and a microwave. The dining room features a large glass table with 6 chairs. The living room is comfortably furnished with a TV area, a reading chair, and a game table. A small hallway leads to the sleeping area. In the first bedroom, you’ll find a sleeper sofa (sleeps 2) and a desk. The second bedroom features a box spring bed with an open footboard, a large wardrobe, and a table with two chairs. The third room has a double bed with a matching wardrobe. Next to it is the large bathroom with two single sinks and two round mirrors, one toilet, one shower, and one bathtub.
