Your Hub to the great outdoors. Snow or Shine you have all the outdoor options
Welcome to the GnarLee River Retreat! Named for our puppies RIver and Gnar. We came to Maine for work and fell in love with it at first site. The wide open lush green mountains which turn into snow covered amusements Parks in the winter won us over. Our home is a spacious, bright and warm place to come and enjoy the great outdoors or a quiet weekend to reconnect.
There is high speed fiber optic internet if you need to be online for work or pleasure. The house offers plenty of room for 12 people to sleep. Making it a great base for a ski vacation or a comfortable retreat after a long day of ATV riding.
The home is quiet, located on a private road with Lemon Stream running through it leading to the Carrabasett River. Fly fishing is minutes away. Snow mobiling is literally available at the end of the driveway and ATV trails are not far beyond that.
We love Maine and we love to share our home with others so you can play while we work! Please let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to hosting you.

About the host
Hosted by Aaron
We are family oriented and outdoor centered. Our love of nature brought us to Maine and the people we met along the way are the reason we stayed. We spend as much time in Maine as we can. We find our stress melts away as we cross the bridge from Portsmouth NH and remember that this is truly how life is supposed to be!
Why they chose this property
It is not a neighborhood. That's why. The location allows us the freedom of peace and quiet. Our neighbors are close by but not too close.
What makes this property unique
The property is open, tranquil and inviting. You can sit outside on the port and listen to the streams flowing through or walk the wire bridge just a short distance away. You are close to all but enough in the middle of "nowhere"
