We booked this property to stay in Carmel Valley to attend my cousin's son's wedding. The location was so perfect, less than a 5 min drive to the Bernardus Lodge, where the wedding was located. Our check-in was difficult but it all turned out fine. When we arrived, which was approx. 30 min. prior to the 4 pm check-in time, we realized the layout of the rooms were arranged along several buildings with long rows of rooms, not individual, stand alone units. We didn't know exactly where our room was located because we did not receive a room #, the door code that was texted to us was wrong, the wi-Fi connection was also written backwards so I had difficulty contacting the host. Luckily, after about 20 min of trying the wrong door code on different rooms, the owner happened to drive up to the property. He was extremely nice to us and got us into our room. Once inside our room, it was very nice, comfortable, well organized, spacious and nice in every way. It looks like the owners have been developing the property grounds & have taken great care to make the rooms very nice and welcoming to guests.

Nice quiet little place to stay! Check in was a bit tricky. It was hard to tell where we were located. We did get there at night so I think that may have impacted us finding the location. The Vrbo app isn’t very user friendly so that impacted us finding the room as well. The room was VERY clean, modern and both my wife and I agreed that the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable!! More comfortable than our own bed lol. The spot had everything we needed (refrigerator, microwave and stove top) although we couldn’t figure out how to work the stove top. The jacuzzi was great and clean as well! Other than that, no complaints!! Great place to stay and would stay again!
