Great location, plenty of space, lots of amenities, relaxing atmosphere, nice neighborhood, 15 minutes from Kings Beach. We really enjoyed our stay here. We had plenty of space for our two families and loved the deck, great kitchen, and large comfy couch.
House was over good. Kitchen well stocked furniture including bunk bed not the most stable. Hot tub not on property and cost money, 40 per family.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, Chris. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the location, though we apologize for the issues that prevented you from fully enjoying your stay. We appreciate you bringing your concern to our attention and allowing us to review and address it accordingly. We have made our local operations manager aware of the cleanliness and will ensure that more attention to detail is made when cleaning the home between reservations. We thank you for your feedback, as it helps us improve our guests' experiences, and we hope you will give us the opportunity to host you again.
From the kids: There were many secret places the grown-ups could not access b/c the grown-ups were too big (and fat) to fit. And there were many fun passageways we could use to spy on the grown-ups. We especially liked the loft for kids (only!) that we used as our meeting room. We loved the bunk beds and wish there were more of them! From the grown-ups: Being an end unit, the place was easily findable from the parking lot. Note that in the winter at least (when we were there) the common areas can be a little dark; the bedrooms were well-lit. The layout meant good separation amongst the common areas and bedrooms, though that translated to more stairs. Wi-Fi strength was superb throughout the home. The heater blew hot air consistently, keeping the entire home warm throughout. The kitchen was superb and the stove / oven were excellent (even better than our own at home) in terms of space, efficiency, and heating strength. Many pots and pans available; a good variety of dishware and mugs were present. To keep things tidy, spices were minimal (you may want to bring your own salt / cooking oil depending on what you want to make). We found the beds comfortable and the bunk beds were a hit with the kids as you can tell from their review above. There is a supermarket (Raley's O-N-E) not too far from the unit's location, which made getting additional groceries easy. Additionally, the unit is close to the Northstar shuttle stop, which we soon took advantage of once more snow
Was very clean place. Perfect for our 2 families that stayed. Very nice area. Our only complaint was it was very hot the first night. Which is out of owners control. But there was one teeny fan for the entire house. So we were all stifling hot sleeping the first night. And a couple room had no screens. So we had to close the windows so the bugs would stop coming in. The second night finally cooled down and was nice. But definitely recommend getting fans for guests.
We didn’t realize how small the place is. The loft was great for the kids but it was not cleaned. I found food and other things up there. I can see why the cleaner might not clean as well because it’s a steep climb and hot in the summer. I living can hold max 4 to be comfortable. It’s very stuffy since we came in the summer and no A/C. However, the location is good and access to the club was nice. Very close to restaurants, shops and skating rink. This is a good place for winter and party of 4.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience staying in our accommodation. We understand your concern regarding the size of the place. While we do advertise our accommodation as being suitable for up to four guests, we appreciate that everyone's preferences and needs are different. We're sorry if the space felt too cramped for your liking. Regarding the cleanliness of the loft, we're truly sorry that you found food and other items up there. We take great pride in maintaining a high level of cleanliness in our accommodation, and we're disappointed to hear that this wasn't the case during your stay. We'll be sure to investigate this further and take the necessary steps to ensure that this doesn't happen again in the future. We can understand why the cleaner might not have cleaned the loft as thoroughly as usual, given its steep climb and the hot summer weather. However, we'll be sure to communicate this to our local operations manager and provide them with the necessary equipment to make the climb more manageable. Despite these issues, we're glad to hear that you found the location to be good and that you enjoyed the proximity to local amenities. We're also pleased to hear that you found the access to the club to be a nice touch. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope we have the chance to impress you in the future.
Very quiet neighborhood. Feels like a cozy little cabin inside. 2 bedrooms down stairs & 3rd on the entry level. Upstairs from the entry, is the living room, kitchen, dining room, loft, & a deck with the most amazing view of the valley. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep. The loft has a gate that closes for safety & my almost 4 year old granddaughter & her mama slept up there on the existing mattress pad.
Things to note: The beds are rather firm. I’m recovering from shoulder surgery & ended up buying a mattress topper in Reno after the first 2 nights. The upstairs shower has low water pressure, but the downstairs shower is amazing!
It took us 2 days to figure out where the “common area” was located. It is not within the condo complex, but rather a 5 minute drive to the Northstar Resort & you have to pay $10/person/day to use their facilities. We were not expecting that added expense for our party of 9, so we only used the pool one day. The rest of the time was spent at the lake, in the adorable town of Truckee, & shopping in Reno. Bring extra toilet paper & paper towels. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of pots and pans, 3 coffee machines, 2 food processors, 2 toasters, and a blender. The washer and dryer work well, bring your own soap. They provide plenty of towels.
The Vacasa property management team was very responsive.
We all fell in love with the town of Truckee & will be heading back again. Hopefully this condo will be available for our next trip!
