The Space:

It's all about location at this secluded and family-friendly Aspen Grove getaway among the pines! Here, you'll find a well-equipped, full kitchen for preparing all your favorite recipes or just whipping up mugs of hot cocoa for the whole family. Dine together at the adjacent table with seating for up to eight guests, and then settle into the open living area with soaring ceilings, a gas fireplace, a flatscreen TV, and sliding door access out to your furnished balcony. Guests at this condo will also be conveniently close to the NPOA Rec Center with its pool, hot tubs, fitness room, and sports courts (There is a daily $10 per person fee to access the Rec Center, per day, payable directly at the Recreation Center upon entry.).



What's nearby:

This property backs right up to the wooded ski back trail where kids will have a blast sledding in winter. Hop aboard the free shuttle to take you to Northstar Village where you'll find a year-round skating rink, restaurants, shops, entertainment, and of course the gondolas/ski lifts waiting to deliver you to almost 100 ski trails spread across over 3,000 skiable acres. Other opportunities for warm weather fun can be found here including golfing, biking, tennis, and more. Head over to Lake Tahoe for boating, water skiing, sailing, and swimming at Kings Beach, less than eight miles east, check out the quaint town of Truckee, seven miles north, or head across the border into Reno for big city entertainment, less than 40 miles away.

We had a good time and the kids loved their bank beds room and one of them slept in the next room when they needed space. The house has 3 stories. So the adults slept at the 3rd floor and the kids on the first. The living room and kitchen on the second. So be prepared for a lot of stairs climbing. The house was somewhat rustic. I would hope that they would put more effort in the kitchen supply and in how they organized the balcony, but the dinning and living room were perfect. The balconies had a beautiful view of the forest and the location was perfect. Very close to kings beach.
