Nestled in the heart of the sought-after Tahoe Donner community, this bright and spacious 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home is designed for year-round enjoyment. With space for up to 10 guests—including a 500 sq ft kid-friendly bunk room—it’s the ideal retreat for families and groups looking to relax, recharge, and explore the beauty of North Lake Tahoe.



Wake up to peaceful forest views framed by expansive windows that fill the home with natural light. In the winter, it feels like you’re living inside a snow globe! Enjoy full access to Tahoe Donner’s five-star amenities including a private beach on Donner Lake, heated pools, hot tubs, fitness center, golf course, and ski slopes—your dream mountain adventure begins here.



LIVING AREA



Enter into a foyer with a bench and hooks for hanging up your bags and coats and a closet for your gear.



The living room boasts a wood-burning stove and 55-inch TV with Roku streaming apps and DVDs available. The wood beam ceiling and large windows invoke a lodge feel, and the plush sofa and chairs seat six. Just off the living room, a large deck with loungers overlooks wooded land.



A loft offers another spot to hang out, complete with a sofa and board games.



KITCHEN & DINING



Share meals around the eight-person dining table; find two additional seats at the kitchen bar. The open kitchen includes a large island, dishwasher, and wine rack. A half bath is down the hall.



BED & BATH



Step down into the primary bedroom, where natural light streams over the king bed and built-in bookshelves. A mirrored closet connects the primary bedroom to the en-suite bath with walk-in shower, vanity, and storage. After a day on the trails, ease muscles in the jetted tub.



The guest bath features double vanities and a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom has a queen bed and overlooks the backyard. Guests will also rest easy in the third bedroom, which includes a queen bed, large closet, and armoire.



Give the kids the fourth bedroom, offering an additional 500 square feet of space. It boasts three twin beds, gas fireplace, 44in TV with cable and Xbox, and a kitchenette with mini-fridge and microwave. The en-suite bath features a walk-in shower.

House has tons of potential to be a great rental but needs a bit of polishing. While it served our purpose we would not put it on our list of places to return to.

Fun weekend in the Snow Globe

The snow globe home was beautiful as described and fit our three families comfortably. The kitchen was well-stocked, beds were comfortable, fireplace was cozy, and the setting was beautiful. Also conveniently close to Tahoe Donner Downhill and Cross-country centers. Would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay here again -- maybe in the summer next time!

Great stay!

This cabin was perfect for our family! Check in was easy. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Plenty of towels, linens and pillows. Lots of games that kept the kiddos occupied at night. The master bed was comfortable. The backyard was the perfect place to let the kids sled and play in the snow. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing house!

House was so spacious in all the right ways. The balcony. The snow. The treehouse fort. All amazing. Plenty of room for all of us! The guest book was nice too. Made it seem more like a home with memories

Retreat for senior golfers

We, 4 senior golfers, have been making trips to various California locations for golf, companionship and relaxation. This rental was one of our best stays. A great location, close to nice golf courses and dining but a feeling of being out in nature (the back deck looks out over the trees). The home was modern, clean, will maintained and well stocked. The bed and bath arrangement provided quiet and private accommodations for all. We will be looking to rent again in the future.

Nice place, good time

Location was beautiful. Upon arrival lots of spider webs, and musty, but overall clean. Wear shoes on the deck. It definitely needs refinishing. Check in guide needs to be updated. Overall we had fun, close to everything, teen room was great for the kids. Would stay again.

Beautiful, great house for our families and love pricing!

Love the Tahoe Donner location, quiet street yet close to the fun. Very well cared for and lovely place with soaring windows, separate upstairs hang out room for teens (and a more superviseable open play room for smaller kids) and plenty of beds and baths for our multi-family group. We have done repeat trips here. The pricing makes it especially attractive for a nice place like this, compared to some similar-sized Tahoe homes we've looked at. With Tahoe Donner so easy-in, easy out for a mountain trip, and great skiing at Sugarbowl, a weekend at Snow Globe really works for us. Have fun!

Family fun in the snow

This house was perfect for a weekend of snowplay! We were two families with 6 kids between us (3 infants) and the house was a great size for us to spread out. The large backyard was ideal for sledding - the kids were in snow heaven! Kitchen was well stocked for cooking (although we also took advantage of the delicious takeaway pizza at the community pizzeria very close by). In addition to beautiful views into the forest, the house has a well-loved, cozy feel. Highly recommended!
