The place was amazing, especially for a family with young kids. The play area was a lot of fun, and the kitchen and living room were a great home base for the family. We also really appreciated being granted early check-in, which was especially helpful with travelling with young children.

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, peaceful location and plenty of amenities to cook meals. Property was clean, just needs a little tlc with dust and spiderwebs up high. Kids enjoyed the foosball, scooters and pogo stick.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well stocked. It was nice to have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers. A supply of zip locks to pack lunches for skiing. We enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace and there were plenty of cozy blankets to cuddle up. Recommend.

Great cabin and location

We really enjoyed our stay. Cabin is in a great location near the Tahoe Dinner recreation center with lots of amenities. Close drive to Donner Lake and downtown Truckee. Plenty of room for our group of 5 adults. The owner allowed a late checkout, wihich was very helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice property in a great location. Very nice master suite & bath and plenty of room for everyone. Outdoor area opens to peaceful forest, low level deck very comfortable, although it seemed "dusty" and we needed to sweep tree debris. The bbq, which worked well was very dirty (cleaner after we left). Access through the garage door seemed strange as there is a very narrow stairway into the house, obstructed by the garage door hardware. Would have preferred front door for coming and going. A few more towels and wine glasses would have been nice and we did deal with the kitchen plugs tripping the breaker and never figured out the oven controls. A screen on the door leading from the kitchen would have been nice as well. All in all we had a good week.

Excellent home in nice location

We stayed here for 10 days during the summer and had a wonderful time! The house had everything we needed, in the kitchen and elsewhere. We really liked the home layout, the back deck looking out onto the woods (great spot for morning coffee), and the very fast internet!

Cozy cabin

The cabin was great, lots of space, fun playroom! It was not the cleanest upon arrival, which was disappointing. But, we made the best of it and still enjoyed our stay.
