Connected to the historic Eilers House Estate, this unique apartment affectionately known as the "Orange Underground" is perfect for a long weekend or extended stay in downtown Wilmington. Don't worry it's only partially below ground with plenty of natural light throughout! Recently renovated with updated furnishing, decor, and appliances the apartment features a spacious bedroom with a king bed, and a living room which includes a comfortable sofa bed for extra sleeping space. The apartment includes a full kitchen with bar seating to enjoy meals and an updated bathroom with a clothes washer and dryer for all your laundry needs. The location is ideal for walking to downtown Wilmington destinations including the riverwalk, restaurants, bars, shopping and wedding venues. We've also included a record machine with some of our favorite vinyl if you need to wind down after a long day. Several area beaches are also not far away and our team is happy to provide you with local recommendations to maximize your trip itinerary. The Eilers House team is excited for you book with us and make some lasting memories!

This location was perfect for our girl's weekend in Wilmington. Parking was easy around the apartment making travel to the beach simple. We pretty much walked to downtown for dinners and shopping. The apartment was clean and larger than we expected. We had 3 people and it was more than comfortable for us.

We had a great stay at the Orange Underground. The apartment is very cute and nicely decorated. Everything was very clean and ready for our stay. The on-street parking was relatively easy. It is just a few blocks walk from the riverfront so we were able to take advantage of that for a couple of meals. No noise issues either from the street or the apartment above. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking to stay in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this Vrbo property. The location was absolutely perfect and made it easy to get anywhere in Wilmington. The property matched the description exactly, was exceptionally clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The host was fantastic, providing great local recommendations and responding very quickly whenever we had a question. We especially loved how convenient the location was. Downtown Wilmington was within walking distance, and most other destinations were only a 5 to 10 minute drive away. It was also easy to get to Carolina Beach and other nearby attractions.I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.
