This large 3-bedroom first floor family friendly apartment is within the private coastal Urbanisation Buenas Noches, with breathtaking views of the sea.
Las Bouganvillas is in a great location right on the coast road, opposite the beach (2nd line to the beach) and close to golf courses – ideal for family holiday and golfers.
The apartments and the Urbanisation are older Spanish residential apartments, ten mins drive from Estepona town, directly on the main coastal road.
You will be able to enjoy a shared pool that is set within grass and a small lush private shared garden.
Air conditioning, fast fibre WiFi, shabby chic old fashioned authentic Spanish apartment with neutral décor, modern kitchen with granite work surfaces, marble floors, south-facing sunny terrace overlooking the pool, lush, shared garden, sea views. Heating, docking station, linen, highchair and childs stair gate, car parking is all available for you to enjoy.
TV is digital with the main UK channels, European & Russian channels and movies.
Duplex style apartment - enter on the ground floor, go up one internal set of stairs up into open plan living and dining area with views to the terrace and sea.
There is a small local unserviced beach opposite - accessed by crossing over the main costal road using a footbridge. This apartment is within walking distance to Bahia De Casares, Casares Del Mar beach, Bar Sal on the beach - which have sun loungers and a beach bar.
Finca Cortesin beach Club, La Perla and La Sal beach restaurants and bars. Many of all bars, restaurants are a 10-minute car journey from the apartment, there is a bus stop outside the urbanisation.
There are supermarkets within walking distance - a small convenience store in the Repsol garage opposite and another supermarket close by. There is a bus stop outside the apartment or by car just a seven-minute drive away you will find Mercadona, Lidl and Aldi supermarkets.
Playa Bahia Casares is the closest beach bar with loungers. Playa El Cristo beach, Playa de la Rada Beach, Costa Natura beach, Sabinillas beach are all within a ten-minute drive along the A7 coastal road.
From the large terrace, you’ll have breath-taking panoramic sea views of the Mediterranean Sea, Gibraltar, the Atlas Mountains Africa, pool and gardens.
South facing terrace offers dining seating for 6, BBQ, 2 deck style chairs and two sofas for lounging.
The apartment is purposely boho shabby chic classic Spanish apartment. It’s a lived in residential much older Spanish apartment, in a residential urbanization, not a hotel experience - where you might find everything highly finished / serviced plus other holiday makers by the pool.
The apartment suits families that want good space close to the sea and are happy with an older style imperfect residential place. As we are on the coastal road, you can hear the road on the terrace and by the pool, and at night you may hear some faint road noise in the bedrooms too. You can see the bridge, the road, handy coin operated laundry and the petrol station from the terrace a - but that’s the compromise with being right opposite the beach.
It’s essential to hire a car or use the bus to get into and out of town as it’s only a short drive into Estepona but too far to walk. You can walk to San Louis Sabinillas within thirty minutes.
Wellness spas, gym, tennis, and several award-winning golf courses and exercise facilities are all available very close by.

This large apartment is set up to sleep and accommodate six people total in two double bedrooms with double beds and one twin room with two single beds, each bedroom has black out blinds.
Private parking for one car only, in an allocated bay, there is plenty of on street parking close by for additional cars.
This property is not for guests that want to be on a holiday complex or in a modern hotel experience apartment. It also won't suit guests that want to be close to all amenities and could be bothered by road noise. It does suit guests that like a more authentic Spanish experience - being in a place that is residential, very safe and larger than many average apartments too.

The property was as described, great location but car needed. Really close to a beach that my kids enjoyed snorkelling at, I sunbathed.
We really enjoyed our holiday with trips to Cadiz and Gibraltar.

Spacious, clean & great sea views.
I travelled with my Husband and 18 month old and we just loved the space in this apartment. It has a large lounge with beautiful sun terrace which was ideal for bbq's & really good sized bedrooms. The apartment is clean and well equipped with everything you should need, the pool was lovely & peaceful - we were often the only people using it.
The Owner was really helpful as has so much knowledge of the area, she helped with car hire & gave us a list of the best local beaches & resturants to visit - this is invaluable information when you are travelling somewhere for the first time with a small child!
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again & would highly recommend others to stay here too.

The house is spacious as described however the apartment smelt awful (musty) on arrival. We tried to air the space but this didn’t work. We only managed to stay one night which was a mistake as the smell didn’t disapate. The owner argued that I was wrong and didn’t offer any kind of refund. I have made a complaint to Vrbo and am awaiting an update. A really disappointing experience.
Die Wohnung liegt direkt an einer 4 spurigen Nationalstraße, die Tag und Nacht laut ist.
Man konnte weder bei offenem Fenster schlafen, wir haben die Terrasse wegen des Verkehrslärm nicht nutzen können.
Auch am Pool war es wegen der Autos sehr ungemütlich.
Der Pool war grün vor Dreck, nicht zum Baden empfehlenswert.
Schade, wir hatten uns sehr auf unseren Urlaub gefreut.

La urbanización está muy dejada en el mantenimiento y además separada de la playa( sucia, llena de mosquitos y algas) por la autovía.
El acceso a la vivienda es complicado y el piso necesita pintura, renovación del baño, utensilios de cocina…
Teníamos una expectativa muy alta por la anterior reserva en esta misma página y nada que ver!!!

Nous avons eu des problèmes avec le gérant de l’immeuble qui ne semble pas supporté les français.
Personne très désagréable limite incorrecte. Pas de bonjour elle mettait des mots sur la porte sans signer
Nous nous sommes rendus compte que c’était la gérante qui nous cherchait des ennuis.
Elle nous accusait d’avoir cassé son mur pour qu’on lui répare…..
Le logement est parfait mais l’environnement est perturbant et désagréable
Par ailleurs personne ne nous a accueillis. Nous n’avions pas d’eau chaude, le frigo était à l’arrêt. Pas de télé durant tout le séjour.

Lovely large apartment convenient for town
This bright, light apartment is perfect for families or - as we were - a group of friends wanting space and sunshine. Estapona is a very pleasant town, with a long sandy beach, and lots of restaurants to choose from. Highly recommended.

Good size, good location
2nd time at Las Bougainvillas and once again can't fault it.
Short drive into town but that's ok as Estepona is a big town and we like
the variety of beaches and driving into the mountains before heading for our daily walk.
WiFi connection was intermittent but it was free so didn't mind and
I bought a dongle locally for only £10 euros. FIVE STARS. We will be back again soon.

Wanted a nice apartment and was a bit sceptical at first as it is advertised as budget and some of the reviews were not amazing.
However I found the apartment amazingly clean, amazingly bright, amazingly well furnished and we simply couldn't believe that the owner advertises it as budget accommodation.
The rates are amazing compared to other advertisers, when divided between 4 / 6 people it works out around £10 per night per person and frankly you can't book a beach hut, pension or BnB anywhere in the world for these rates these days. Or if you do, you don't expect shiny marble floors, clean linen and towels, breath taking sea views, a pool, coffee making machine and the ability to pay by credit card. Call me new age but this place rocks in terms of value for money v comfort during your stay.
I am going back and passing the word on too.

I guess I am under selling it by advertising it as budget but I've always felt that not over promising and keeping the prices keen are some of the reasons why my regular guests come back time and time again. Hopefully you will too!

What a lovely relaxing holiday, great times.
My Wife & I stayed here with our friends, 5 of us in all.
booking was very simple & the owner gave us loads of helpful info & tips(Thank you! we had a great night at El Rincon Toscano)
The apartment was a great size, clean & fresh, with great sea views & didn't feel cramped at all, the facilities were good with fresh towels/linen etc& the kitchen has all you need.
The beautiful pool & garden were great for relaxing in the lovely sunshine & although it is a communal pool we never saw anyone else there.
Estepona is a lovely area with alot of character, nice little local bars & with Puerto Banus & Marbella just down the road you get the best of both worlds.
We had such an amazing time we have already booked up for this summer

DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY
When we arrived the afternoon of the 3th of July, after a travel of 10 hours, the responsable of the keys told us nobody will arrive to the appartment this day and she has no instructions from the owners, and we spend one hour to show her the e mails and to try to explain her (she speaks only spanish...)
at least she give us the keys, this appartment was the dirtiest one I ve seen, a porchery, we have been shoked and when we asked the keyholder she doesnt stopped speanking spanish and done nothing for us.
we wrote several emails to Chalice, she appologizes so many times and nothing was done , we have to clean the apprtment during hours so we can sleep quitly, and the day after we had to buy cleaning products and clean all the appartment
We had to buy towels and bedleanen, and four days after a woman brings us towels and sheets.
we spend two weeks in the appartment and nobody asks about us or about the appartment cleanness.
As the appartment is not cheap, it must be perfectly cleaned and furnished,
So I dont recommend this appartment to nobody, espacialy families with children,

Fakten:
Zur Lage: Die Wohnung liegt in einer Anlage einer Urbanisation, die an der 4 spurigen Autovia National liegt, was zur Folge hat, dass rund um die Uhr Verkehrslärm zu hören ist, insbesondere auf der Terrasse, die mit einer großen Satellitenschüssel verbaut ist und einen zentralen Blick auf die gegenüberliegende Tankstelle bietet. Der Weg zum Strand führt über die Autobahnbrücke und beträgt nicht wie beschrieben 20m sondern über 200m.Die spanischen Nachbarn in der Wohnung darüber waren sehr laut, rund um die Uhr lief der Fernseher, bis weit nach Mitternacht.
Zur Sauberkeit: Bei unserer Ankunft mußten wir die Küche komplett neu reinigen, der Kühlschrank war klebrig, fettig, und auch alles Geschirr war von einem klebrigen, fettigen Film überzogen. Der einzige Wasserhahn am Spülbecken war sehr wackelig. Die Waschmaschine wäscht nur in 2 Programmen. Der Fernseher war nicht funktionsfähig, erst nach 2 Tagen konnte die Putzfrau den defekten Anschluß reparieren lassen.
Auch die Bettwäsche mußten wir bei Ankunft waschen, da im Bett überall (Kopfkissen, Bettdecke) schwarze Haare verteilt waren. Von den 3 Schlafzimmern konnten wir nur 1 nutzen, da die anderen nach Feuchtigkeit (mangels Lüften) und Schimmel rochen.
Wir haben im Anschluß an der Küste eine Villa und ein Penthouse gemietet (ebenfalls bei fewo-direkt), (preislich vergleichbar) die sehr viel höhere Qualität boten.
Wir werden dieses Domizil nicht weiterempfehlen.
Übrigens: Attraktionen, Restaurants sind nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen.

I purchased my lovely apartment over 25 years ago. I use it as much as I possibly can with my family when I'm not busy working in London.
I travel a lot and enjoy holidays which range from 2 - 5 stars, so I understand good value for money and what represents good accommodation.
Why they chose this property
For me owning a 2nd home abroad was all about the sea and beach and this apartment has it all.
It's large, it's opposite the beach, it has the most amazing sea views and I can see the mountains too.
It's on a very secure and private residential complex so whether I am there on my own or with my family I always feel safe.
The apartment is within close proximity to the town centre. Just a ten minute drive along the beautiful coastal road with mountains in the backdrop and I am in either Estepona Port East or Sabinillas West, close enough to get into town with ease but away from the hustle and bustle, perfect!
I can walk to a supermarket, a 5 star beach club/bar, lovely beach restaurants, a day spa and gym and I have a shared pool.
Car hire is essential when staying at my apartment but there is a bus stop outside and buses run frequently so all in all it works for me and my guests.
What makes this property unique
Location, location, location ... sea views, mountain views, proximity to beach, private exclusive complex of 1 low rise block surrounded by individual villas all with own pools. Turn off the coastal road straight into Buenas Noches and our car park is at the entrance so it's really really easy to find. This apartment is simply huge.
This property is right opposite the sea, it is in a residential building where most of the properties are owner occupied, it's a very old Spanish property too - so you get a sense of being in Spain not on a holiday complex. The road noise is the compromise for being so close to the sea. Being out of town is wonderful if you like a sense of space and are happy to take a short drive into the town centre.
Please don't book this apartment if you want a newer apartment, or if you think hearing the road or driving into the town centre will bother you.
