About this property

Beautiful Andalusian style apartment directly above the pool area, with fantastic views of the sea and golf course. Direct access to peaceful and enclosed (child friendly) communal gardens with 2 large swimming pools (a further 7 communal pools in the complex) plus sunbeds and umbrellas. A huge private balcony with Barbeque and dining area (not over looked by neighbours due to elevated design) south facing with private sun loungers on balcony also. The complex is also very secure with 24hr security guard at the entrance and locked gate access to each block.

Puerto de la Duquesa is a beautiful cosmopolitan marina which stands between 2 blue flag beaches. Situated between Gibraltar (approx. 30 mins) and Marbella (approx. 20 mins) with Malaga only 45 minutes away all travelable by car. Puerto de la Duquesa has a large number of bars and wonderful restaurants with a wide choice of international cuisine. Bordering Duquesa is the larger resort of Sabinilla's, which has a very Spanish feel. Here you can find a large number of beach bars and tapas restaurants situated along the picturesque promenade. Beautiful beaches are also a 10 minute walk downhill with further views that run as far as the eye can see. Duquesa is also known for its Golfing with many award winning courses within walking distance or just a short drive away, the Duquesa Golf complex being the nearest which is just 2 minutes away.

Amazing place and host!

Mandi is an amazing host, who is extremely helpful and made us feel at home. The apartment is lovely and spacious, and the area is picturesque. Would highly recommend staying there!

Fantastic stay

From the initial contact for making arrangements to getting there, Mandi could not have been more helpful. The apartment is beautifully furnished- the photos don’t do it justice. The balcony must be the largest on the complex- we will definitely be back and cannot recommend this place enough

Mañana from heaven..

Happened across this holiday rental when looking for a place in La Duquesa,an area in south western Spain,that we favour and cherish. The sell points for us was that it had it's own stairs access to the pools and a huge balcony area. So it was booked. Upon our The keys were posted to us so no fussy check in. Even a return sae was supplied. On our arrival,we opened the door to find a wonderful,clean large apartment that met our criteria and then exceeded our expectations! Just fantastic. The apartment,location,views,complex....every box ticked indeed. I cannot recommend this property enough and will forever express the desire to return.

Lovely holiday

Lovely apartment, balcony wonderful. Everything you would need for a week’s holiday. So much already there that you don’t have to buy. Mandi’s suggestions on where to eat were followed up and excellent and she was very quick to respond to our requests for more information. We haven’t been to Estapona before but will definitely go again. It is a lovely area. Will hopefully book again.

Excellent apartment with amazing outside space

The 2 bed apartment is a good size and has an amazing outside terrace with easy access to the communal pool. Mandi was really quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

The most amazing terrace and views

The terrace is just wow. It gets the sun most of the day, the views are stunning, there’s shade when you need a break and the furniture is so comfortable and relaxing, plus right on the pool but sufficiently private. We hardly wanted to go out! Walking distance to the beach and port (20-25 mins), yes it’s back up at hill so you need to be relatively fit but otherwise it’s a short taxi ride. If you want views and peace you usually need to be on the hill and it’s so worth it. The living area is great too, feels like a loved home rather than a rental. The only little bit I struggled with was the bed, a bit hard for us but I’d still return!

A great stay at Coto Real

We had a wonderful time staying at Mandi’s lovely apartment on the Coto Real complex. A quality, roomy and well equipped apartment with a nice homely feel…but, as great as the apartment is, the balcony is the star! A really spacious balcony with seating, dining and sunbathing areas with plenty of shaded area too. The private steps taking you directly from the balcony to one of the communal pools was a particularly nice touch. The pool area and grounds were well presented and never particularly busy. Always more than enough sun-beds too. The complex is a 15/20 minute uphill walk from the port of Duquesa but this is what makes it such a great location. Great views from the balcony, no road noise and it’s quite a nice stroll down to Duquesa or the beach at Sabinillas. If you don’t fancy the walk home, taxis are cheap and available. Mandi’s communication was brilliant before and during our trip I strongly recommend this area, this apartment and Mandi as a host.

Amazing balcony space with great views

Ideally located for a quite and relaxing stay. The apartment boasts the use of two fantastic pools with plenty of sun-bed space. Property is very well equipped for those wishing to self cater with plenty of clean, bed linen and towels, even throws for those chillier evenings sat on the balcony. We have stayed in various apartments within Coto Real and would highly recommend Mandl’s for a great stay.

Lovely views and a great spot

Good size, well equipped apartment with direct access from terrace to 3 pools. We were there at Easter and it was very, very quiet. I think we were the only occupants in the block. Terrace is half covered so we were still able to have a BBQ even on a rainy day. Mandi's communication and helpfulness was spot on throughout and she is very easy to deal with. Various people claim various distances to the marina so just to be pedantic, it's exactly a 2km downhill walk. We have kids of 5 and 7 and it took us 25 mins or so down and 30 mins up. It's easy to get a taxi from the rank in Duquesa though and was just under 10 Euros if you don't fancy the walk back up. Duquesa is a really chilled out little Marina with good restaurant options mainly catering to the British and Irish holiday crowd. Another 5-10 mins stroll along the promenade brings you to Playa de Sabillinas, which leans more towards the locals. Some great tapas options there. The only downside was the sheer amount of dog poo on the beach, pavements; everywhere really. Despite the number of signs, people blatantly just don't seem to clean up after their dogs. It wouldn't stop me returning to this part of Spain, but i thought i would mention it.

Winter in Manilva

Our stay was late February to early March. The weather was sunny most of the time and the large terrace allowed us to enjoy breakfast and lunch some of the time in the sun. Sometimes there was strong cold wind which kept us inside though. The air conditioning was excellent, however, and kept the apartment warm when needed. The apartment was well equipped and did not disappoint, it was as advertised. The location of the apartment made it an excellent base for exploring the coast and the mountains behind. We found Mandi to be very responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there again.

Amazing apartment, huge spotless with fabulous terrace to the pool

Stunning modern apartment. Apartment was in secure complex. Fabulously equipt with everything you need for comfort and make holiday easy. Washing machine hairdryer etc. Two spacious and modern bedrooms with two bathrooms. Terrace was amazing and steps straight down to the pool. Would recommend a car for ease of getting about Durquesa. Mandi was a pleasure to deal with. Super efficient and helpful

Couldn’t fault this , great accommodation, huge patio area and no more than 20 metres from a great quiet pool. Owners will tell you all you need to know about the area and make recommendations on places to eat, visit etc.

A true Dez Rez with stunning views

We could not have been happier with this beautiful apartment. The complex is great and has three pools right at the bottom of the steps which lead off the balcony. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Mandi is a superstar to deal with. She could not have been nicer when I unfortunately got accute food poisoning and had to stay an extra night. Would highly recommend booking with Mandi. We won't look anywhere else in future.

Amazing place and fab holiday!

We had a fantastic holiday the apartment was very well equipped in a fantastic location. Nice and peaceful but only a short walk to bars and restaurants. Mandi was an absolute pleasure to deal with, extremely responsive and ensured our holiday was hassle free. We are already planning our return!

Excellent stay!! Highly recommend!

I couldn't recommend Mandi's place more highly. I went away with my husband and 2 year old and from start to finish we were relaxed. From Mandi arranging the transfers to making the place as baby friendly as possible I didn't have to worry about anything. The apartment is very well equipped an feels like a home away from home. The best part is the apartment is directly linked to the pool and to top it off the view of the sea makes this place so special. We liked it so much we will be booking to go back in a few months! 5 star rating.

Fantastic apartment with spectacular views from a lovely terrace

The apartment is fabulous, with a terrace that is large , well equipped and furnished with patio furniture. The terrace gives wonderful panoramic views of the coast and countryside. The apartment is well equipped and furnished, with every need thought of! The terrace has steps down to a quiet pool that has plenty of sunbeds and a children's pool, neither of which were crowded during our stay in September. The port and beaches are a 15/20 minute stroll down the hill, with restaurants and bars lining the port and beach. We had a relaxing holiday and would love to return. We highly recommend this apartment and it's wonderful views and terrace.

Lovely spacious apartment with sea view, direct access to the pool and a stunning terrace

Great apartment in a beautiful area. The terrace really does make this apartment even more attractive - it is large with space to eat, relax and sun-bathe. Had a great stay in La Duquesa - it is a really relaxed with lots of good places to eat. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Super modern apartment with great views and a fantastic large external terrace.

Firstly we would note our host (Mandi) was fantastic and a pleasure to deal with. Prompt response to every query we made prior to our visit and went beyond all expectations when we had a key issue. The apartment is just per the advertised photos and probably even better. Everything you may require has already been thought of. The outdoor space is exceptional and was perfect for our family of five (kids 5,8,9) needs. The pools are great and we had almost exclusive use of the one accessed directly via stairs from the terrace. To be honest we had no complaints whatsoever about the accommodation. Would recommend a car but would also note we got by easily without one during our 4 night visit. Arriving late at night, we never fancied the drive from Malaga. However, for the second part of our holiday to travel elsewhere, I picked up a car back at the Airport and found the journey from Malaga is actually pretty straight forward using the A7 road. The apartment facilities are such that there could be no need to go out at night. But with young kids to entertain we tended to make the fifteen minute walk to the marina and take a taxi back (8 to 9 euro). The marina has plenty of restaurants and bars including spanish, italian, mexican, indian , chinese and thai. There are also nice beach bars on the promenade in either direction from the marina. Sabinillas beach is about five minutes walk along the promenade where you will find numerous other dining options. Lovely area to visit and would highly recommend this apartment. It was an area relatively unknown to us we but will definitely consider a return visit.

Great apartment in a quiet and peaceful area.

The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing break. It's right next to two swimming pools and has a large terrace with an outdoor seating area. The port of Duquesa is about a 20 minute walk (downhill) and a taxi back costs just under 20 euros. We would stay there again.

Amazing Apartment in a lovely location

We had an amazing holiday at this apartment which is fantastic and in an ideal location. Everything you need has been thought of and the apartment is done to a high standard. We enjoyed quiet peaceful afternoons on the balcony and by the pool and then wondered down to the marina on an evening enjoying the many choice of restaurants. Mandi made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect holiday and even came to the rescue when we arrived and were trying to get into the wrong apartment! We will certainly be back to this little haven.

Fabulous !!!
