We had an absolute fabulous stay. The property see so beautiful! The view was amazing. Most unbelievable sunrises. Just wished the whirlpool was not broken as the beautiful pool is not heated and we were there in October
Tranquility! Beautiful setting for relaxation and exploring.Close to wineries and historical sites. Our cozy cottage was perfect for 2 couples! My only disappointment was that the hot tub wasn’t operational. We were looking forward to chilling in it with a glass of vino.
Our little house was just darling and had all we could ever want. The pool was beautiful and sat where you could overlook the Tuscan landscape. I just wish we could have stayed longer.
Stunning property - the beauty of the grounds exceeded our expectations. Classic Tuscany. Super easy to get to Montepulciano and other towns. We stayed in the two-bed, two-bath casina which provided great space for our family. There are 5-7 rooms at the hotel so you are sharing with others. The casina felt private because it was an independent structure, but the other rooms were located in a single building so perhaps that felt less private? The decor was traditional and somewhat dated. There was no cleaning service throughout our stay which was fine for our family. It was nice that they provided various bathroom products (toothbrush, etc). The paid breakfast was a continental spread with cakes, pastries, cereal and cheese - not an American breakfast with eggs and sausage, but nice nonetheless. Overall a great value - not fancy, but the grounds and views are gorgeous.
Check in process was fine, nothing special. The location advised that the “reception” was Btwn 1500 hrs and 1800 hrs, but the reception was literally just giving you the key. Accommodations were very clean and landscape was manicured very nicely. The view of the countryside was amazing. We did not do the cooking class they offer but talked to another couple that did and did not care for it. Breakfast was okay as well (10.00 per person). We did go to a wine tasting and tour at their other location and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the food, the wine and the tour was amazing. Mid size winery, was redone to be modernized, but very nice. Svetoni Wine Resort.
We were here the first week of October 2022 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our cottage was very comfortable and furnished with all the necessities. The staff at reception and in the dining area were welcoming and friendly. Irene and Laura were such fabulous bakers and chefs! Every morning there were fresh baked cakes, eggs, meats, and cheeses. You could take in the aromas in the afternoons. We enrolled in a cooking class that was hands on and great fun! Now for the views - we almost had to pinch ourselves daily to know we weren’t dreaming. There is a vineyard and olive grove with the Tuscan countryside in the distance. It was truly breathtaking.
