Note: This is a smoke-free holiday home; charcoal grills and open fires are prohibited due to the property’s location in the forest and the resulting risk of wildfires! Pets (small animals) are not allowed. No Wi-Fi in the house; a free Wi-Fi hotspot with seating is available on the property.



Dependance Holiday Homes at Lake Kastavensee

The Dependance refers to our holiday homes at Lake Großer Kastavensee. These are located approximately 4.5 km from the Seenland Holiday Park at Lake Großer Lychensee. The cottages are nestled in an old pine forest. Due to the size of the property, the 11 cottages are well-spaced, ensuring privacy and, above all, tranquility. The distance from the cottages to our private swimming area ranges from 50 to 250 metres. Lake Großer Kastavensee is partially located within a nature reserve and is known for its excellent water quality. Thanks to its many shallow areas, the water warms up very quickly, making the lake a great place for swimming. Our private swimming area with a sunbathing lawn is very well suited for small children. The very clean lake offers a good—though challenging—fishing spot (with a good population of pike, perch, eel, tench, and bream). The forests are perfect for picking blueberries and gathering mushrooms. A hiking trail runs around the lake, and the regional bike paths are easily accessible. The supermarkets and restaurants in Lychen are about 3 km away.
