We enjoyed our stay over the 4th of July weekend. There was an excellent firework show easily visible from the large deck. There was plenty of hot water for showers and plenty of room for our group of four (there is ample room for a larger group as well) to relax together. This is an older home that has had some recent updates. The mattresses appear to be new but are on the thinnner side. The furniture is new and the interior is freshly painted. The home was generally clean with the exceptions of the exterior doors, a few spider inhabitants near the door leading to the deck, the bathroom sinks, and a dishwasher packed full of the previous tenant's dishes which I had to rewash. Renters should be aware that the private dock is not the dock directly across the street, but a shared dock just a bit down the road and that swimming off of the dock is not allowed according to the posted signs. The other cabins available for rent are pretty closely situated to this house. The house is within a short walking distance to a bridge leading to a small island from which people were fishing, and there is also an area for wading. We had a generally pleasant stay.
