Great location - quiet, relaxing, easy instructions. Only had to reach out for help once (looking for remote) - very responsive and easy! This was a great location for a restful family time in our family life.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The cleanliness of the bedding, dishes/ kitchen, and bathrooms we rated low because we had to clean them before we would use them.
Overall a nice property. Only two minor issues, one was lack of trash bags and the other was a stained towel that looked like it had been overlooked. Everything else was very nice and we had a good time. Would recommend
The property was very clean, organized and the sunrise with the balcony view was outstanding! We were so close to many adventures but stayed just a tad outside Branson making us comfortable and peaceful. Highly recommend!
Our chicken process had me a little bit nervous because our code didn’t work right out of the gate however, the property manager handled the problem quickly and efficiently and really assured me that he was there to make sure our stay went exactly like it was supposed to. There was a few odd and in things that weren’t working at the complex like the fireplace LED screen was out same with the fire pit outside, but these were all minor things that did not affect our visit in the slightest. We did have a small issue occur a little bit later on our trip and the property manager went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled as quickly as possible. I honestly could not have asked for better service from the staff. If this place is still available next time we go on a trip I can tell you I will be booking with them. I recommend this location to everyone. The view was absolutely stunning, and the overall place was just amazing.
Crystina was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful and gave us great hospitality. The property was so beautiful and the view was amazing. I strongly recommend.
Great getaway spot for families looking to enjoy the area
Our family of 5 stayed at The View for our spring break trip. We really enjoyed the space, and the property manager was there to promptly respond when we needed as well. Our kids enjoyed their fun space upstairs and the living space was our favorite. We appreciated the chance to make some new memories.
Great time. House was fantastic. Only issue was a blown fuse, which made some lights and things not work (but the contact absolutely offered to send someone out, just wasnt too important to us). Would love to come back. The heater in the bathroom was a game changer.
We took a little weekend away for our anniversary. Our first time in Branson. We enjoyed our stay and the house. We will book the house again when we bring the whole family to Branson. Any question I had were responded to quickly. The Sun rise from the balcony is beautiful. We highly recommend staying here.
The home was absolutely everything my husband and I could have asked for in order to enjoy out weekend away. All amenities have been considered, and then some!
We stayed at the Lake Taneycomo Views: Family-Friendly Cabin for a quick family getaway, and it was a wonderful experience! The cabin was cozy, clean, and perfectly set up for families. The views of the lake from the property were absolutely beautiful — we enjoyed sitting outside and taking it all in.There was plenty of space for everyone to relax comfortably. The location was peaceful yet close enough to town to grab anything we needed. The hosts provided clear instructions and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We especially appreciated how kid-friendly the space was, which made the stay stress-free for the whole family.Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly place with beautiful lake views. We’d be happy to come back in the future!
Definitely made our short trip worth it. Easy booking. Easy check in. Host was wonderful and was quick to reply with answers to any and all questions we had. Our only regret was not planning to stay longer. However, our host made everything feel so simple so we were able to enjoy the short amount of time that we did have. Thanks again! :)
The View provided a comfortable stay for my partner and I.
We loved the pretty view and the added touches the property provided. The morning sun that comes through the windows can be a bit bright. Maybe a sheer curtain to pull across the windows so the living room can be enjoyed in the morning longer would be my only recommendation. Great walkable quiet neighborhood and close to great coffee in Hollister. Thanks again for taking the time to make this place special for your guests.

summer weekend
overall, this is a nice property. Clean, quiet with a great view. However, there was a real problem with the upstairs twin bed room. The issue is the very low ceiling and entry hall.So low we couldn't stand up, the ceiling drops to only 4" over the beds. Since there were 6 adults, this was a big problem, with one taking the room and the other using a small futon in an alcove. If this was in the description we would have stayed elsewhere. The main bedroom was a described, roomy with a large en suite bath, walk in shower. The 2nd bedroom as described, but no dresser or mirror.Bathroom, communal, has a tub with a hand held shower. Kitchen well appointed, roomy and clean. Living room very comfy, lots of chairs and great view. Room for 3 cars to park.
I'm going to be as specific as possible. The TL;DR is that this is a wonderful property that we would not hesitate to book again. Pros: for once, the views from the property are better in person than in pictures! It truly is beautiful, quiet, and restful. The interior is decorated tastefully with nice little added touches like decoratively folded towels. There are three small things that could be improved. First, the mattresses are FIRM. We like firm mattresses but even for us they were a little too firm. If you don't like firm, you may want to consider bringing a mattress topper. Second, this is not a place where it's easy to do serious cooking. There were plenty of spices and cookware but no condiments, basic ingredients, cooking oils, etc. Basically if you're going to make a meal here you'd need to buy 100% of the ingredients needed. That's probably not a big deal for most people but it's something I like to know ahead of time. The third thing which may just be personal preference is that there are no curtains and all the big windows face east. That means beautiful views, but also blinding light that can't be adjusted in the mornings. Again, these are small things. Overall this property is a great value. Clean, excellent communication from host, beautiful views! We would recommend this place without hesitation and we hope to return.
The view from the big windows is the best thing about this rental. With a “for sale” sign out front, it certainly felt like the owners have one foot out the door already. Reasons for 3-stars were: dirty grout throughout the house’s white tile floors, no wash clothes to be found, finally found clean towels… in the dryer! Kitchen was lacking basic supplies. Back deck had old, worn out/faded patio furniture, on-it’s-last-leg BBQ grill, wasp nests making the swing unusable, and faded/broken decor. Some TLC would gain more stars for future rentals.

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
When we checked in the property seemed nice and it has a really nice view and a good neighborhood which is quite, there are houses on both sides of the house one of which has a window that has a view of the master bathroom window which is directly next to the shower and has no window covering. The foundation of the house clearly has issues with the amount of cracks around doors and windows, which I get is difficult to remedy right away, however the doors to the bedrooms don't close or stay closed and they also don't open all the way because of the floors being uneven from the foundation issues. We did notice after getting settled that the kitchen wall had coffee all over it, and the floor and windows were dirty with trash and handprints. We also found pieces of chicken on the rug in the living room which we tried to clean up with the vacuum which didn't have a filter in it, also a mop with no mop bucket. There is also only two remotes for 3 tvs, one of which had no back and no batteries (we had to purchase batteries), the other is almost falling apart. When it started raining the front porch became very slippery and I almost fell twice. The big tub would be very useful if the water heater could fill it up past my waist, so it was not enjoyable. The house is also very noisy at night, it makes loud popping noises and will wake you up all night long. The lock on one sliding glass door was missing, which is very dangerous for small kids. It's not worth the price to stay there.
