Stunning surrounding area. Fantastic hosts who went out of their way to help. They are extremely knowledgeable about restaurants, places of interest and local history. The setting is extremely peaceful with beautiful sunsets. The track up to the house requires a sturdy vehicle. Furniture inside and out is tired but plentiful.

If you are looking to rest and recharge your batteries then this is the place to do it. Grazia Caroni provided a warm welcome and assistance when it was required. The property itself was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The terrace and pool area provide spectacular views of the Tuscan hills, with San Gimignano beckoning in the distance. Watching the sunset from the terrace was a daily highlight. The property is within striking distance of Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Pisa and Sienna if you wish to explore, but lounging by the pool is certainly no hardship. If you are looking for a location at which you can mix sightseeing with relaxation then this is it. We would certainly stay with Grazia again.

What a find Podere la Valle was! Beautiful setting in the heart of Chianti - the place is a really magical spot. Jerome has clearly put a lot of hard work, love and attention to detail into everything at the property. It is genuinely hard to find any fault. Yasmin was our point of contact during the stay and was really excellent at helping us out with any small questions we had. The place was immaculate throughout - extremely well looked after by the staff and also by fellow guests over the years. It was the perfect spot to switch off (although the WiFi was excellent if required) from the real world and reconnect with nature - I think I saw more species of butterfly in one week here than in the rest of my entire life put together! I guess the only comment I would make is that we stayed during June and even then, at 30 degrees during the day it did get warm during the night. There was no Aircon in our house. Great from a sustainability perspective and actually there’s plenty of windows and shutters to control the temperature naturally. But if you do like it cold you might struggle in warmer months. I think fans are available? Regardless don’t let that put you off. There’s always the amazing infinity pool to cool off in and plenty of shaded areas with hammocks to relax in the warmer hours. In short - you won’t be disappointed!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay in FORNO, the room and swimming pool (large enough to swim in and perfect temperature) were very clean, the spa was for private use and we really enjoyed our evening in there, bed linen and towels were in good condition and Jerome provides lots of handy tips for nearby facilities. We barely saw the other guests, often had the pool to ourselves and loved the complementary coffee from the common area. The kitchen was also very well equipped if you should wish to prepare more complex dishes. If I could suggest any improvements I would suggest to provide a standing fan as FORNO was very hot, even in June, I dread to think how it feels in August (we didn't address this with Jerome so it's possible there is one available)! I also understand they're in the process of installing mosquito nets but as our room only had one window with a net we had to choose between being hot and getting bitten (we both left Italy with several bites), bug repellent plugs were provided. The last issue we had was with the refrigerator, it seems to need the door seal replacing so it just didn't chill our food, we mentioned this briefly but managed to cool items almost enough by placing the frozen ice cube tray into the fridge and chilling drinks in the freezer before consuming them but it really does need fixing properly as it was inconvenient for us. Despite the issues mentioned I'm confident Jerome will do what he can to resolve them and we would both return and intend to revisit in future, it was like a slice of paradise nestled into the Chianti countryside, thank you Jerome for a wonderful stay!

The house looks just like the photos. It is in amazing setting and the views are wonderful. Lucrezi, the owner is very and helpful and lives in the house behind the villa. Panzano is a 15 minute walk away, but please note a lot of it is a dirt track. The village itself is small with just a couple of restaurants, gelaterias and a few shops. The Sunday market is worth a visit. The main bedroom has a small bathroom and if you're tall it's difficult to stand up straight. The only other downside was that there were only three sunbeds, so as a family of four someone always had the deckchair. All in all though, a lovely villa in a lovely location. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at Glicini was wonderful. The property and pool were spotless, Lucia and Roberto made every effort to ensure our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The local information they shared with us - where to park on our journey into Florence, local vineyards who offered great tasting afternoons and more was really helpful. This is a beautiful, rural, peaceful spot ideally placed for visits to all the "hotspots" of Florence, Sienna, San Gimignano and more.

We stayed 2 weeks in August, Pietro was a charming, gracious and thoughtful host, responding quickly to emails and making helpful suggestions of places to visit. The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped, we were grateful for the 2 electric fans in the heat. It is located in a hill top village where there are 25 properties that share the pool and tennis court. We often had the pool to ourselves and the water was the perfect temperature. The views are absolutely stunning, it has an "away from it all" feel. We shopped in the Pam supermarkets which was 20 minutes away and we discovered some great restaurants. It is the ideal location from which to explore Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and many other beautiful towns and villages. It is worth noting that the 3rd bedroom is a mezzanine which is reached by climbing some stairs from the 2nd bedroom and the 3rd bedroom looks over the 2nd bedroom. The WiFi has a good connection but (at the time of writing) there was only 7 gb of data for each week. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this apartment very much
