Lovely 4 bedroom house with AC walkable/bikeable to the rail trail in New Paltz
We are offering a summer rental in our lovely house between New Paltz and Gardiner in the Hudson Valley. It's a great place in a great location to spend a few weeks for the summer. (We will be there for July but are seeing family in Europe for August).
The bright, open living area looks out over a large scenic pond, and the dining area seats six comfortably. A well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook a real meal — though with New Paltz and Gardiner both just five minutes away by car, you'll be tempted by the restaurants and tasting rooms. Don't miss Kettleborough Cider House — an easy after-dinner bike ride away.
Sleep up to eight across two downstairs bedrooms, a king bed upstairs, and twin beds in a second upstairs bedroom.
Full bath downstairs, half bath up.
Large upstairs den with TV for winding down and a standing desk. We also have a bonus room which makes a great second working area.

We’re Jen & Dan. We love to travel and we love being outdoors. We enjoy having guests and making our lovely house feel like a home.
Why they chose this property
New Paltz has lovely shops, restaurants and trails. It also has great outdoor activities at the nearby mohonk preserve and minnewaska state park. Trails link our house to so many amazing biking and hiking opportunities. There’s also great climbing and skiing nearby.
What makes this property unique
We love the sense of space from four big bedrooms, two living rooms and lots of outdoor space. We can watch turkeys, deer, ducks and more from our living room. The pond feels really calming and we love being so close to the rail trail into town.
