Welcome to your home away from home in beautiful Coeur d'Alene, Idaho! Lake+Line Retreat is designed for gathering, relaxing, and making lifelong memories. Our spacious 5-bedroom, 3-bath retreat has something for everyone!

Challenge the family in our nostalgic 80s retro game garage, gather around the fire pit, enjoy meals and a game in the covered patio breezeway, or unwind on the private balcony. Inside, you'll find a fully stocked kitchen complete with a coffee bar, cozy living spaces, locally inspired North Idaho-themed bedrooms, a spacious bonus room, and even a private office for those mixing work with play.

Located 2 blocks from Sherman Ave and The Centennial Trail just one block away, it's easy to bike or stroll to some of Coeur d'Alene's best attractions. Spend the day on the quiet shores of Sanders Beach, tee off near the famous Floating Green, hike Tubbs Hill, explore downtown shops and restaurants, or take a short drive to Silverwood Theme Park for family fun. Back at the house, enjoy our bikes, scooters, basketball hoop, outdoor games, and fully fenced yard. Whether you're here for lake days, golfing, hiking, skiing, or simply a cozy movie night, our home is the perfect base for your North Idaho adventure year round!

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Just one block south of Sherman Ave and one minute to I-90 freeway, we are located in a quiet neighborhood one block north of the Centennial Trail and Ironman route. Walk or bike downtown, easy and short access to Sanders Beach, Tubbs Hill and everything downtown CDA has to offer! Restaurants, coffee, gas station, food market all located within a few blocks.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests will receive individualized door codes for the duration of their stay prior arrival and the day of arrival through the messaging app.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Return bikes, scooters and outdoor equipment to outdoor shed and respective locations
Return all remotes to their respective locations/rooms. Any lost remotes will result in a charge of $200 for thermostat remote and $50 for the TV and fan remotes.
Leave stripped bedding on respective beds. Gather towels in washer and start a cycle. (Load around perimeter of drum to ensure a balanced spin cycle)
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No pets. No Smoking. (cigarettes, vaping, marijuana) Any violation to any of the rules will cause cancellation, eviction and no refund.
No events. No holes in walls. No open flames. No food or drink (other than water) upstairs. Shoes remain downstairs. All guests on reservation.
Max 12 people with $50 per extra person per night. (up to 14 people total) Lost remotes: Hitachi:$200 TV remote: $50.

Don’t look any farther for the perfect family vacation home. The home, the neighborhood and the owner are 5 star. Walking distance to restaurants and downtown and the best kitchen for family gatherings. Terrible Experience - FilthyConditions and Rude Customer Service.This vacation home was completely unacceptable. I have rented properties worldwide for years and have never seen a place this dirty. • Cleanliness: The house had a bad odor, dusty furniture, and greasy kitchen appliances.The carpets hadn't been vacuumed, and the floors weren't mopped. Worst of all, the toilets had urine and feces stains, the showers were filthy, and the mirrors had toothpaste all over them. We felt unsafe sleeping in the beds.Owner Response: The owner offered cleaners late at night, but we had already cleaned the toilets ourselves so our family could settle in for our trip to Silverwood. She only refunded the cleaning fee after I sent photo evidence, making excuses that her cleaners were either rushing or new.Safety & Communication: A Tic-Tac-Toe game hanging on the bathroom wall fell and hit my son's head. When notified, the owner casually replied "Yikes!" without asking if he was hurt. After we left, she insulted us by claiming her steak knives were missing. Highly disappointed in the poor maintenance and offensive
management.

We take guest feedback very seriously, which is why we feel it is important to clarify several statements in this review that do not accurately reflect what occurred. Our home was professionally cleaned and inspected immediately before this guest’s arrival, and we have time-stamped photos documenting its condition. The guest checked in at 6:30 p.m. and messaged me at 6:40 p.m. with concerns about cleanliness. I immediately offered to send our cleaner back, at which point he told me he had “already cleaned it all” himself. Unfortunately, we were never given the opportunity to inspect or address those initial concerns ourselves. Despite that, we offered multiple remedies: our cleaner could return immediately that evening, or the following morning while the family was at Silverwood so their plans would not be disrupted. Both options were declined. When the guest later stated that his family felt unsafe remaining in the home, we offered the option to leave and receive a refund. He chose to stay. We also want to correct two important inaccuracies in this review. We did not simply refund the cleaning fee—we refunded approximately half of the reservation in an effort to resolve the situation. Additionally, the photos were sent unsolicited with the guest’s initial message, not because we refused a refund until photographic proof was provided. I also personally called the guest to hear his concerns, convey my genuine desire to make things right, and ask what more we could reasonably do after already offering multiple solutions. We are extremely grateful for our many five-star reviews and take great pride in the cleanliness, condition, and management of our home. In this case, we offered an immediate re-cleaning, a next-morning re-cleaning at the guest’s convenience, the option to leave with a refund, and ultimately a substantial refund despite the guest choosing to stay. While we understand that, despite every reasonable effort, it may not always be possible to satisfy every guest, we believe future guests deserve an accurate account of what occurred. We stand behind our home, our cleaning team, and the good-faith efforts we made throughout this stay to address every concern presented to us.

Easy location to downtown and also a trip to Silverwood. Nice walking area. Lots of space for various age groups to enjoy their own space. Loved the outside areas and game room. Kitchen was nice layout and well stocked. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Loved being able to set the temperature for each part of the house. Didn’t have time to use the bicycles but they would have been a fun addition if time had permitted.

Our family stayed at the house for 7 days in July. The location of the house is in a quiet neighborhood located in a quiet neighborhood minutes from downtown and a beautiful park that has a great beach for swimming and picnicking. The house has bikes for every size rider. They were used alot by everyone. The kids and adults spent alot of time in the garage converted to a game room. Highlights were the electric Air Hockey, ping pong and basketball toss. The kitchen was so well equipped, we had everything we needed and then some. We had 4 kids ages 10-17 and 6 adults ages 40-80. No one felt crowded. There was plenty of room on each floor to spread out.Anna was the best we still host. She was available any time we needed her. If we needed anything in the house, it was delivered by the next day.Anna and her husband went above and beyond decorating the house. Every room has a theme. All the beds are so comfortable.Thank you Anna for a great experience on our family vacation. We will be back.

We love Sanders beach specifically because it's quiet yet still close to several amenities. You can enjoy the hustle and bustle of downtown and retreat back to our quaint safe neighborhood. We also enjoy visiting Sanders beach which tends to be a bit quieter.

What makes this property unique

Our home can accommodate large parties and there is so much to do. From the nostalgic game room to the firepit and cozy rooms for a movie night, there is something for everyone. I really enjoyed designing the rooms with local North Idaho themes as well! My favorite thing as a designer is that you can create a fun space that is so different from how you would decorate your own home!
