Your lovingly furnished holiday apartment is located in Herrnburg, in a quiet residential area 7 km from Lübeck’s historic Old Town. The apartment features a living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, a bathroom with a shower, and a terrace. There is also a place to store your bicycles, as well as a free parking space on the property. A shopping centre with an Aldi, an Edeka, a bakery, and a pharmacy is located 300 metres away at the train station. The Palinger Heide nature reserve offers many kilometres of biking and hiking trails as well as small, hidden lakes.

Marzipan, *Buddenbrooks*, Thomas Mann, the narrow alleys and courtyards, the seven towers, the beautiful harbour, and of course Lübeck’s Holstentor—you can reach all of these in no time by car, bus, or train from Herrnburg.
The distance to Lübeck Bay, with its beaches such as Travemünde, Timmendorfer Strand, Scharbeutz, and Grömitz, is about 30 to 40 minutes via the A1 highway. You can reach the Hanseatic city of Rostock via the A20 in about 60 minutes.
A special experience for nature lovers is a cruise on the “Amazon of the North”—the Wakenitz River—departing from Lübeck.
It flows from Ratzeburg to Lübeck, along the former inner-German border. Lake Ratzeburg and the Schaalsee region are also great destinations for a lovely day trip.
