ARCHAEOPTERYX House—the only one of its kind in the nature park

The ARCHAEOPTERYX house is set amid a large, park-like garden with beautiful, secluded spots all around the house. Private porches, high-quality seating, well-tended flower beds, lawns, and a private hill with a view invite you to enjoy, play, and relax. The large private outdoor pool, complete with a wooden deck, a beach umbrella, and lounge chairs, is located just a few steps from the main veranda, between a sunbathing lawn and the annex with its wellness area. This area houses the sauna, a shower and bathroom, a small relaxation nook, and the popular table tennis table. The house itself is a historic building that once served as a workshop for lithographic stones in the immediate vicinity of the famous Solnhof quarries. It was extensively renovated for you in early 2000 and lovingly furnished with plenty of wood and Solnhofen stone slabs. The rooms are simply but tastefully furnished. The kitchen is well-equipped with kitchen utensils and modern appliances. The spacious living room, featuring a large dining table that seats up to 16 people and a sofa area, has a tiled stove and cosy underfloor heating.



Due to its size and layout, the house is particularly well-suited for family gatherings and groups of friends. Maximum occupancy: 16 people, including children.

All was perfect/so much space I lost my way a few times!! Only downside was the requests for cleaning when we left. When we arrived it took a few hours to sort/organize plates and cooking items in the right place. When we left we all spent at least half a day to clean/wash/tidy - as per the owner's written request so I think the cleaning charge was not appropriate. Anyway we had a great xmas family time so thankyou again!

Die Aufteilung der Zimmer im OG in zwei abgeschlossene Wohnungen und einem Schlafzimmer im EG war für unsere drei Familien ideal. Die Wohnungen im OG sind sehr heimelig ausgestattet, die größere hat eine großzügige Diele und ein eigenes Spielzimmer mit Spielsachen. Spielsachen gibt es auch im Speise-/Wohnzimmer im EG. Großartig für unsere 8 Kinder.Dazu das große Gelände, das Nebengebäude mit Sauna und Tischtennisplatte, auch im Spätherbst (unser Aufenthalt) oder im Winter gibt es viele Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten für alle.Die Küche ist mit fast allen wünschenswerten Geräten, Geschirr usw. ausgestattet. Ein paar zusätzliche Trockentücher wären nützlich gewesen, ebenso einige kleine Handtücher zum Händeabtrocknen in den Bädern und Toiletten.Aber insgesamt: es wird schwer werden, ein ähnlich gutes, liebenswertes Ferienhaus an einem anderen Ort für unsere große Familie zu finden.

Schönes Haus, sehr geräumig. Wir waren zu 10 Personen in dem Haus und konnten uns gut auf die Zimmer verteilen. Mit mehr Personen wird es in einigen der Schlafzimmer vielleicht ein bisschen eng.Für großgewachsene Menschen Kopfstoßgefahr an den Türdurchgängen, insbesondere im Obergeschoss.Pool und Sauna sind auch gut zu nutzen, der Pool ist natürlich jahreszeitbedingt etwas sehr kühl gewesen, aber damit war ja im September zu rechnen.Etwas mehr Beschilderung wäre bei der Anfahrt schön gewesen, damit direkt ersichtlich ist, welches das richtige Haus ist auf dem Gelände. Bei blendender Sonne war das im ersten Augenblick nicht ganz klar, hat sich aber schnell geklärt.

Solnhofener Charm mit liebevoll renovierter Gebäude. Toll ist der getrennte Freizeit Bereich der nicht wetterabhängig ist, mit Sauna und Pool. Alle liebten den Tischtennisraum.Ausreichend Zimmer für alle Familienmitglieder. Gut sortierte Küche mit allem Notwendigem. Wunderschöner Naturgarten, sogar zum Verstecken.

Urlaub wie in der Provence

Das Haus - eigentlich 2 Häuser - und sein Garten erzeugt ein bisschen Provence feeling. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und mit allem was das Herz begehrt ausgestattet. Die Gartenanlage erzeugt ein mediterranes Wohlgefühl mit Pool, Sauna sowie einer Tischtennis"halle" in einem Nebengebäude. Das Wohngebäude ist ein ausgebautes ehemaliges Tagebau Gebäude weit ab vom Schuss.Dementsprechend hört man außer Vögeln bzw. gelegentlichem Hundegebell quasi nichts - sehr entspannend!

Tolles Ferienhaus mit großem Garten

Schöne Gegend und geräumiges Haus

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Haus Archaeopteryx. Nur die Anreise mit ÖPNV war eine kleine Abenteuerreise, da die Busse teilweise nur einmal täglich fahren. Das Haus war geräumig und gut ausgestattet, die Zimmer nett und es gab genug Bäder für alle. Unser Highlight war der Pool und der kleine Berg am Haus, von dem aus man den Sonnenuntergang perfekt beobachten könnte.

Tolles Haus und Grundstück

Wir waren zeitweise 13 Personen. Hatten ausreichend Platz zum Schlafen. Der Pool war ein highlight. Die verschiedenen Sitzplätze im großen, naturnahen Garten waren ideal, um Schatten zu finden und gemeinsam zu sitzen. Auch das Gasthaus in Langenaltheim, mit regionaler Küche, hat uns gefallen.

Familientreffen

In der Unterkunft haben wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Gemeinsames Kochen, grillen und ein kleines TT-Turnier führten zu viel Gemeinsamkeit. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.

Gemütliches Haus für Familientreffen

Wir haben uns in dem Haus sofort wohlgefühlt. Toll waren die super Küchenausstattung, die gemütlichen Betten, die Sauna sowie der große Garten, in dem die Kinder spielen konnten. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber verlief zu jederzeit reibungslos. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! :)

Schönes Wochenende mit Freunden

Die Kommunikation lief einwandfrei. Das Haus ist sehr groß und geräumig und bietet alles, was man braucht. Unsere Kinder konnten sich draußen und drinnen ordentlich austoben und hatten sehr viel Spaß. Die Gastronomie im Ort und in den Nachbarorten war leider überschaubar und Vieles geschlossen weshalb wir am letzten Abend eine kleine Odyssee hatten noch einen Platz zum Abendessen zu finden. Alles in allem aber ein schönes Wochenende mit Freunden im Altmühltal.

Geräumiges Ferienhaus mit vielen Möglichkeiten

Wir haben über den Jahreswechsel in einer großen Freundesgruppe ein paar entspannte Tage in einem geräumigen Ferienhaus verbringen wollen - das Haus Archaeopteryx in Langenaltenheim hat uns dabei alles geboten, was wir gesucht haben. Das Objekt bietet ausreichend Platz und ist gut ausgestattet. Außerdem sind unsere Gastgeber unglaublich zuvorkommend und freundlich gewesen und haben immer schnell geantwortet und geholfen, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Ein sehr angenehmer Urlaub!

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus

Wir haben in den Pfingstferien eine Woche mit 10 Menschen mit Behinderung und 4 Begleitpersonen im Haus Archaeopteryx verbracht. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und vor allem der Pool am Haus war ein riesen Highlight. Der Außenbereich war einfach traumhaft. Aufgrund des tollen Wetters haben wir die meiste Zeit im Freien verbracht. Die Betten waren für manche unserer Teilnehmenden etwas eng (1,40 m bei einer Nutzung zu zweit). Sonst hat es uns aber an nichts gefehlt. Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage in der Unterkunft.
