Pros: Location, firepit and supplies, rustic charm, kitchen supplies, grill that actually works, charming master bedroom, games and puzzles, pet friendliness, general Up North ambiance, comfort and coziness.Cons: Upstairs bedrooms and bathroom are dated, double beds - no queens - in every bedroom, old, flat, hard pillows, no extra blankets (that we could find), no placemats, shortage of kitchen storage space for food, no bedroom closets.Overall we and our adult children and their partners enjoyed the place very much. It could be made even better with a few upgrades.

Awesome place to stay

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and it was perfect! The house was very clean and well equipped. Great location within walking distance to the golf clubhouse and ski base.

Perfect Getaway at Crystal Mountain

This is a great getaway location with great amenities located on Crystal Mountain Resort. The resort has so many amenities that you don't have to leave the resort or you can be close to some great little towns like Beulah and Frankfort!

Wonderful stay at the Salt Box

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It had all the amenities for our large family including a big outdoor grill. It was a very peaceful getaway. We liked the close proximity to the Crystal Mountain Resort and walked our dog over there each day. Thanks for a wonderful place to stay.
