Our family of 9, ages 2 to 75, enjoyed every single minute of our week at this charming house in Wiscasset. Being walking distance to downtown was perfect for the days that we wanted to "split up" and some of the group stayed home - we still had plenty to do with lunch and shopping. All the beds were comfy and the house is very spacious. We all left a piece of our hearts in this very special dwelling. So many fond memories!

Thank you so much for this beautiful review! We are absolutely thrilled that your family of nine, enjoyed every single minute of your week in Wiscasset.
It is wonderful to hear that the spacious house and comfortable beds fit everyone so perfectly. We are glad the easy walk to downtown gave your group the flexibility to enjoy the local shops and restaurants at your own pace. Knowing that our home holds a special place in your hearts means the world to us.
Thank you for being such wonderful guests, and we would love to welcome your family back soon!
This place is huge! We had six kids ages 9-16 and six adults staying here, and we had plenty of room.
The kitchen was large and the bathrooms were great and plentiful!
For someone who loves the characteristics of an old house, this place had it all! The kitchen was a great place for everyone to gather in the mornings and evenings. The porch was my favorite coffee spot. Location was perfect for all the places we took day trips to.

Beautiful old home with lost of space for the whole (extended!) family
The home is beautiful and really has room for everyone. The location is also ideal for wandering around the midcoast, which means we actually didn't spend as much time enjoying the house itself!

For someone who loves the characteristics of old homes, this house has it all! The remodeled kitchen was a perfect place for everyone to gather in the mornings and evenings. The porch was my favorite coffee spot. We had everything we needed while staying at this house. Location was perfect for the day trips we had planned.

Lackluster Exterior for the Price charged
What a beautiful historic Victorian home! The updated kitchen and bathrooms were fantastic. The interior of the home was very clean. The kitchen amenities were plentiful and provided everything we needed for our stay. The sleeping, eating and parking space was adequate for the size of the group we had. While the interior of the home was beautiful, we couldn’t help but notice how much the exterior of the house needed attention. Peeling paint, mildew on the siding, rotted wood on the front porch, gutters full of tree debris and overflowing when it rained, shrubs needing pruned and trimmed away from the house to name a few.
