About this property

Paradise Valley A-Frame: Panoramic Views

Little Moose Horn is a stylish A-frame escape on open acreage in Montana's Paradise Valley — and one of the best-positioned basecamps in the valley.

The Yellowstone River runs just across the road, with a public fishing access a minute from the door. The deck faces Emigrant Peak and the Absaroka Range, and the light on those mountains at sunset is why most guests end up eating dinner outside.

DRIVE TIMES FROM THE CABIN
• Yellowstone River public fishing access — 1 min
• Emigrant, for Follow Yer' Nose BBQ, the Old Saloon and Wildflour Bakery — 5 min
• Chico Hot Springs — 10 min
• Sage Lodge — 10 min
• Downtown Livingston — 25 min
• Yellowstone Hot Springs — 30 min
• Gardiner and Yellowstone's North Entrance — about 40 min, and it's the only park entrance open to cars year-round
• Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport — about 1 hour

THE SPACE
Step inside to a bright, inviting interior bathed in natural light from large windows — a warm cabin feel with a stylish, modern aesthetic. The spacious living area features unique touches like a raw wood log column. The well-appointed kitchen boasts a stone-base island, and the open-plan dining area offers panoramic mountain views. Two stylishly decorated bedrooms, one king and one queen, plus two full bathrooms, comfortably sleep four.

Inside: Full kitchen with cookware, coffee maker, and basics · Air conditioning and mini-split heating in every room · Washer and dryer · Sonos sound system · Smart TV · Fast wifi · Board games for cabin evenings

Outside: Furnished deck with sweeping views of Emigrant Peak and the Absaroka Range · Propane grill · Free parking on site · Self check-in by keypad any time after 4 PM

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Paradise Valley runs about 50 miles from Livingston to Yellowstone's North Entrance, with the Yellowstone River down the middle and the Absaroka Range rising on both sides. The cabin sits right in the heart of it.

River: blue-ribbon fly fishing on the Yellowstone, with a public fishing access a minute from the cabin. Guides operate out of Livingston and Emigrant if you're new to the water.

Soak: Chico Hot Springs at 10 minutes is the classic — soak first, dinner after. Yellowstone Hot Springs at 30 minutes is the perfect stop on the way back from the park.

Eat and drink: Follow Yer' Nose BBQ and the Old Saloon in Emigrant, 5 minutes away. Sage Lodge at 10 minutes for a polished dinner with mountain views. Downtown Livingston at 25 minutes for the historic Murray Block, Campione, 2nd Street Bistro, coffee, and galleries.

Yellowstone: enter at Gardiner, about 40 minutes. Mammoth Hot Springs is roughly 50 minutes door-to-door, and Lamar Valley wolf and bison watching makes an unforgettable day trip.

Wildlife: deer, elk, and raptors right from the valley roads at dawn and dusk.

GUEST ACCESS
The entire home is yours — both bedrooms, both bathrooms, the kitchen, the living area, and the deck. There are no shared spaces and no one else on site, so you'll have the place completely to yourselves. Free parking is right at the cabin, and self check-in by keypad means you can arrive on your own schedule any time after 4 PM.

The land beyond the cabin is working ranch and neighboring property, so please stay on the cabin's grounds — and for river days, the public fishing access just down the road is the easiest way in.

A full local guide — our favorite restaurants, soaking spots, wildlife drives, and a Yellowstone day-trip plan — is waiting in the cabin for every guest.

NEW THIS SEASON: There's now an outdoor fire pit — evenings here end around it. Bring or buy your own firewood (easy to grab in Livingston or at the Sinclair on Hwy 89), and check the house manual for our simple fire-safety guidelines; during posted fire restrictions or high winds the fire pit is paused. Inside, we've stocked the practical stuff too: an iron and ironing board, a folding cot, and a Pack 'n Play for the littlest travelers.

A NOTE ON THE LOCATION
The cabin sits right on Highway 89, the main road running the length of Paradise Valley. That's the reason it's such an easy basecamp — no gravel switchbacks, no getting lost after dark, and five minutes to Emigrant, ten to Chico Hot Springs, forty to Yellowstone's north entrance. The tradeoff is road noise on the deck during the day. Guests tell us it's quiet inside with the doors closed, but if you're after total backcountry silence, this is worth knowing before you book.

Thank you — that carries weight coming from someone who runs rentals themselves. Glad the details landed, and you'd be welcome back anytime.
