The Space:

Step inside our charming lakeside cabin and discover a thoughtfully designed space perfect for families. The cabin features three cozy bedrooms, each offering a tranquil retreat. Bedroom 1 boasts a luxurious king-size bed, providing ample space and comfort. Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3 each offer a queen-size bed, ideal for couples or individual guests. The cabin includes two full bathrooms, ensuring convenience for all guests. The heart of the home is the inviting living area, where you can relax and unwind. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare delicious meals, and the dining table provides a comfortable space to enjoy them. Step outside onto the patio or balcony, where you can soak in the serene water views. Enjoy the outdoors with amenities such as a BBQ grill, fire pit, and outdoor seating. Complimentary bicycles are available for exploring the scenic surroundings. With its blend of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty, this cabin offers an unforgettable family getaway.



Guest Access:

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire private waterfront cabin, including three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable living area. Enjoy the serene water views from the patio or balcony. Outside, you'll find a BBQ grill, fire pit, and outdoor seating perfect for relaxing. Complimentary bicycles are available for exploring the scenic surroundings. Direct lake access allows for fishing and water sports. The home has a gate at the entrance of the driveway. No code for the gate, just need to open up wide and use the iron sticks to hold. The driveway has plenty of room for trucks, trailers and boats.



The Neighborhood:

Nestled in the charming area of Prosperity, South Carolina, our lakeside cabin offers a perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. You'll find yourself just a short drive from local shops and dining options in Prosperity. For those seeking adventure, explore the nearby attractions, including golf courses and the South Carolina Confederate Relic Room and Military Museum (approximately a 45-minute drive). Families will love a day trip to the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden (around a 1-hour 15-minute drive), offering a wide array of wildlife and exhibits. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of our neighborhood, ideal for a relaxing getaway with easy access to both local amenities and exciting day trips.



Getting Around:

Getting around Romas House is easy! Free parking is available on the premises, perfect for those arriving by car, with plenty of room for trucks, trailers, and boats. For those flying in, the nearest airport is Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE), approximately a 1-hour 15-minute drive away. While public transportation options are limited in this peaceful lakeside area, the cabin's location offers a tranquil escape with convenient access to local attractions and amenities by car. Enjoy the scenic drive and the freedom of exploring the surrounding area at your own pace.



Other Things to Note:

• Property treated for pests. Lakes provide habitat for a variety of creatures. The owner is not responsible for wildlife or insects, but please let us know of any issues or unusual occurrences. • Guests using motorized water toys must adhere to Lake Murray's NO WAKE zones. Close to the docks is a NO WAKE ZONE. If you want to boat, tube, or jet ski, please go into bigger water.

• Children must be supervised by an adult when on the dock, swimming, or using any water toys as needed.

• To provide a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, primary guests must be at least 25 years old to book accommodations with us.

• As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we ensure the property against guest-caused, accidental damage with the Safely Protection Policy. The cost of this protection has been included in a Trust and Safety Fee or your rental rate. The Safely Protection Policy covers the cost of repairing damage to the property up to $3,000 for content and $3,000 for dwelling. Any deductible, minimum claim amount, or cost of repair above the coverage limits will be the responsibility of the Guest, and PMI Palmetto will process the payment using the form of payment on file for the Guest. Additional information about the Safely Protection Policy will be provided upon request.

Dominion Energy and Lake Management have announced plans to draw down Lake Murray this winter to help control aquatic weeds.

The drawdown is scheduled to begin this month, September, 2026, with the lake expected to reach approximately 350 feet MSL by January 1, 2027. The lake will remain at this level until February 1, 2027, after which water levels will gradually rise based on rainfall and inflow conditions. Guests with fall and early spring reservations should be aware that lake levels will be significantly lower than normal during this period. Many docks may have limited or no water access, making it difficult or impossible for boats to reach the dock. We encourage guests planning to bring a boat to consider these conditions when making their travel plans.
