Welcome! Our charming holiday rental was renovated in 2022. Its exceptionally quiet location on the outskirts of Störmthal guarantees you a relaxing and comfortable stay. The apartment has everything you could ask for. Our guests can look forward to an apartment with two fully furnished bedrooms, a closet in the hallway, a bathroom with a shower and bathtub, a spacious living room with a TV and reading nook, and a fully equipped kitchen, including a large dining area.

Lake Störmthal was created from the former Espenhain open-pit mine. Thanks to a canal connecting the lakes and shared bike and hiking trails, it forms a single tourist destination with the neighbouring Lake Markkleeberg. Even from a distance, the Mining Technology Park is a prominent attraction. As a place that brings history to life and commemorates the technological processes of an open-pit mine, the park captivates its visitors. The art installation “VINETA”—a floating artistic interpretation of the former church of Magdeborn—serves as a memorial to the lost towns of the lignite mining region and, since being anchored in the middle of the lake, has been used as a venue for weddings and events. It can be visited using Germany’s unique amphibious vehicle or the ferry.

Tolle Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage. Es war vom Kaffee bis zum Duschgel alles vor Ort. Die Ausstattung sehr hochwertig und freundliche Gastgeber. Bei uns waren keine Wünsche mehr offen.

Wir haben eine Ferienwohnung vorgefunden, in der es an nichts fehlte!Sogar der Kaffee war da. Von den 100 Kleinigkeiten ganz zu schweigen. Alles piko-pello sauber.Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und aufgeschlossen. Die "Chemie" hat gestimmt und wir sind sehr gut zurechtgekommen. Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Wohlfühlatmosphäre verbracht.

Leider können wir nur 5 Sterne vergeben, eigentlich wären es mehr. Super nette Gastgeber, helle und großzügige Wohnung. Tolle Ausstattung und Einrichtung. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Was man (zumindest wir) vermisst hat, war ein kleines Radio zur Unterhaltung beim Frühstück ;)Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!!!!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich in der komfortablen, sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung empfangen. Wir erlebten in Störmthal und Umgebung einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind wenige Autominuten entfernt. Nach dem Kennenlernen vieler schöner Orte im Neuseenland ist das Abendessen im Gasthof Störmthal sehr zu empfehlen, wenige Minuten zu Fuß von der Ferienwohnung entfernt. Nochmals liebe Grüße und alle guten Wünsche an unsere Gastgeber!

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Fewo. Alles sehr funktionell und durchdacht eingebaut. Große Gesamtfläche. Mögen auch künftige Nutzer pfleglich mit dem Inventar umgehen.

Schöne Wohnung, sehr bemühte Gastgeber

Die beiden Gastgeber haben uns herzlich begrüßt und sich sehr bemüht unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Einziger Kritikpunkt: während unserer Abwesenheit wurde die Wohnung betreten um die Blumen zu gießen und es wurde der Müll entsorgt. Sicher nett gemeint aber ohne vorherige Absprache eigentlich nicht in Ordnung.
