Great luxurious property near Nolin Lake

My children and I stayed at The Golden Retreat and enjoyed the luxurious accommodations. Property owners provided all of the necessities for our stay and the entire reservation process was easy. The children enjoyed all of the games provided including billiards, shuffleboard, and cornhole. Dad's favorite activity was playing Golden Tee with the children.

The house was beautiful and very clean. We loved the screened in decks and the furniture on the top deck. Nice pickleball courts. Glad there were balls and paddles. We had fun giving the game a try. Lots of tvs with easy access to movies and other channels. Liked that four of the bedrooms had king-size beds and attached bathrooms and were on the main floor. Convenient for our group with older people. Well equipped kitchen. Large table for us to sit around and talk while we ate. Wished Vivienne Trace had a road sign where you needed to turn. That may be in the making. Due to some of our group having mobility issues, a handrail on the steps up to the porch would have been helpful. 6 out of 9 of our group did not like the pillows even though they made the beds look great. They weren't able to use them for comfortable sleeping. We didn't use the hot tub or the fireplaces. We didn't use the outside firepit or the grill, but they both looked great. Loved all the games available in the lower level. Four of us walked down through the woods to the lake, but it was steep in places. We wondered if there was a better path. We had plenty of room for our four cars. All in all we had a wonderful time and would be happy to rent the house again if we go back to that area for our family trip. Very much appreciate how available Brittany was with instructions and/or help.
