Charming 4-bedroom cottage on Lake Wequaquet

Located directly on the Cape's largest lake, Lake Wequaquet, this property is ideal for families that enjoy swimming, fishing, boating and just plain relaxing. The dock has a seating area for sunbathing, reading and having lunch. A rowboat and two kayaks are provided for your use.

A large screen porch overlooks the lake and provides a perfect spot for bright sunny breakfasts or romantic candlelit dinners. This home, which has been part of our family for over 60 years is not a rental property per se, but rather, a cherished family retreat.
Our home provides the best of both worlds: a quiet, peaceful location with easy access to Craigville beach (5 minutes away) and terrific shopping and dining in the Osterville and Hyannis areas.

Some vacation homes are nice, and then there are the ones you leave already hoping to come back. This was one of those places.We stayed for a week with eight people, five children, including four teenagers, and the house was perfect for our family. It was spacious, spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everyone had plenty of room to relax.Our favorite part was the lake. Walking through the screened-in porch and taking just a few steps to the water each morning was amazing. We spent hours swimming, fishing, kayaking, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.The location was ideal, close to Main Street in Hyannis for great restaurants, shopping, and ice cream, while also being a perfect home base for exploring everything Cape Cod has to offer.The host was wonderful. She was kind, welcoming, and incredibly responsive whenever we had a question. You can tell she truly cares about her guests and wants them to have a great experience.Our family made so many special memories here, and we would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing Cape Cod getaway. We’re already talking about coming back and hope this becomes our family’s annual summer tradition.
