Unit is infested with roaches. Serious plumbing issues. Checked in on Friday evening. Downstairs toilet clogged. Roaches everywhere! Big ones, little ones. Three retired Army vets, we were keeping score. Winner got 20 kills. I had a big one my suitcase. Took a couple of tries, but got it. Two dropped from the ceiling. When I say "infested" I am not joking. Then the maintenance guy came Saturday morning to unclog the downstairs toilet. This has been an ongoing issue with the unit, according to him. When we got back that evening, There were feces and toilet paper in the shower. Unsanitary. No cleaning supplies. I cleaned it up with dish soap and a sponge brought from home. Really gross. Sunday morning, I'm up early and take a shower downstairs so not to wake the others. I noticed the drain was slow. Standing water in the shower. Next person wakes up, hops in the upstairs shower, and 5 minutes later, water is pouring from the base of the downstairs toilet. A flood of epic proportions. Rest of the crew has to go to the convenience store down the road to use the bathroom. No showers for them. Sewer water has backed up into the downstairs shower. Smell is horrible. Host offered to move use to a different cabin, but we were done. Packed our gear and left early. Absolutely the worst experience. I've been deployed to third-world countries with better conditions.
