Escape to the Berkshires and enjoy this spacious home surrounded by nature, comfort, and outdoor gathering spaces perfect for families and groups. Sleeping up to 11 guests, the home features two first-floor bedrooms with queen beds, a second-floor bedroom with a queen bed, a twin daybed in the common area, and two queen sleeper sofas.

The heart of the home is the oversized eat-in kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a gas range, 8-cup Keurig, and stovetop espresso maker. The dining table seats six, with additional seating for two at the kitchen counter.
The living room offers hardwood floors, area rugs, a three-seat leather sofa, leather recliner, and a wood-burning fireplace for relaxing evenings. A smart TV is located upstairs in the loft, where guests can log into their own streaming services. Central air keeps the home comfortable, and additional window AC units are available in the upstairs loft and bedroom.
One of the highlights of the property is the beautiful three-season porch with seating for seven, a dining table, overhead fans, and windows on three sides overlooking peaceful wilderness views. Outdoors, guests can enjoy a large yard with flower gardens, a stream crossed by two wooden bridges, a vernal pool, hammock, tiki torch-lined walkways, and multiple gathering areas.
Toward the back of the property is a permanent 9x12 screened house with a metal roof, seating for 10, interior and exterior 12v lighting, and a Bluetooth sound system. Outdoor cooking options include a Blackstone flat-top grill, gas grill, tabletop gas pizza oven, and a fire pit with cooking grate for bonfires and evenings under the stars.
Located directly across the street from French Park, guests have easy access to hiking trails, a playground, baseball field, basketball court, pickleball courts, and tennis courts. Rackets, bats, balls, and other recreation equipment are provided for guest use.
The home is also a short drive from some of Great Barrington’s favorite local spots including Aroma Bar and Grill for Indian cuisine, Great Barrington Bagel Company, Siam Square for Thai food, and SoCo Creamery for ice cream.

The home is ideally located in North Egremont, surrounded by outdoor recreation, local history, and small-town Berkshires charm. Just a 2-minute drive away is Prospect Lake, where guests can enjoy swimming and fishing. Public lake access and roadside parking are available nearby on Prospect Lake Road, approximately a 1-minute drive or 15-minute walk from the home. Guests are welcome to use the provided fishing rod and tackle during their stay, and fishing licenses can easily be purchased online through MassFishHunt
. Please note that fishing is not permitted from the dock itself, but shoreline fishing is allowed.
There is also a lesser-known local swim hole just a short drive or walk from the property, offering another peaceful spot to cool off during the warmer months.
Directly across the street, French Park features hiking trails, tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, baseball fields, a playground, and a horse ring. Guests will find equipment at the home including tennis rackets, pickleball paddles, a basketball, and wiffleball gear for outdoor fun.
Just up the road is Prospect Berkshires, home to The Cliff House, offering a bar and upscale dining only a short walk or quick drive away. The nearby North Egremont Country Store is only a 3-minute walk from the home and offers groceries, sandwiches, ice cream, beer, wine, and liquor.
For guests interested in local history, North Egremont is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the historic Henry Knox Trail runs directly through the area. The nearby Shay’s Rebellion monument, located about an 8-minute drive away, marks an important site in early American history.
