A very nice and relaxing stay on Herring Pond, right down the road from a local farm, fish market, the bay, and a brewery. The outdoor area underneath the den by the basement door is lovely, and it was great having a small dinner party there with some friends next to the whiskey barrel and the view. The lakehouse is fairly well furnished, more-so for older generations but the basement area had the most comfortable bed with a more modern and contemporary feel, which I appreciated.
