About this property

Convenient summer house on the Nollur farm at Eyafjord

The house was designed by a Swiss architect and completed in 2009. There is a pleasant indoor temperature in summer and winter. The house is heated with natural hot water. The large windows allow an unrestricted view to the fjord and the weather changes. In winter, Northern Lights can be observed without leaving the house.

There are three separate rooms and a bathroom. The main room has a large table and the kitchen. The main sleeping room has a double bed and a sofa with a nice view to the Fjord. The children's room has a bunk bed. The bathroom is in black stone and equipped with a spacious shower. The fully equipped kitchen has all amenities and a large fridge. Enough dinnerware and cutlery is available. WiFi and a computer with internet access is in the room as well.

This is a great, very clean place right on the fjord. We were given extensive information about the property and expectations. We were able to see whale spouts and northern lights right from the porch overlooking the fjord. Host provided a lot of local information about things to do. We highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Nollur, enjoyed the quietness around and the wonderful sea view from our room. Perfect spot to enjoy the surroundings, every must see is accessible easily from there. The home was pretty cozy and the Kids enjoyed the outside.The only thing we lacked, as we were staying a week, was a washing machine, but we managed to deal without it.

This place is absolutely gorgeous and the view is just stunning. It is so peaceful and quiet, but also only a 25min drive from Akureyri which had plenty of restaurants and shopping. The house was very clean and had plenty of parking. Our family of 4 stayed in this rental, and our friends and their families rented out 2 of the other houses on the property. This was perfect for us all to be together for meals but have our own places to go back to sleep at. Note that this rental does not have a hot tub, though the other houses on the property do. This was not an issue for us since we could use the hot tubs at the rentals our friends were in. The kitchen in this house was very large and had everything we needed including an oven!

Great location if you want to get away from it all. Property was clean, kitchen was well apppinted and practical, and the views out the back window and patio were stunning. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is absolutely amazing. The views are incredible and the property itself is very modern and well designed and furnished. The floors have radiant heating which was extremely pleasant. About 30-40 minutes from downtown. We stayed for a week and found it to be beyond perfect. Would definitely recommend staying at Nollur farms. The views, property attention to detail will not disappoint.

Amazing place with a stunning view

Beautiful place to stay, the views over the bay are amazing, only a 15 minute drive to downtown akureyri, yet peacefull and quiet in the house. Owner of the buildings is a great guy, can help you with anything, giving recommendation or just a chat. Will be visiting again on future iceland trips.

Beautiful property close to Akureyri

This property was gorgeous. It had all of the essentials. It was a beautiful location if you like to get away from the city centres and the view is incredible! We even saw the northern lights. Very comfortable and spacious.
