Perfect location with a super short walk to the beach and our room was just the right size for two people. Amenities included a regular coffee pot with two mugs and complimentary coffee. There is also a built in hairdryer in the bathroom which was convenient. I feel the need to mention that (if I counted correctly) there is about 35 steps to climb to the second floor. If you have sensitive knees or trouble climbing steps, I would suggest a lower level room. Otherwise, a nice and reasonable place to stay and the host is very attentive to any needs that you may have during your visit. We love Surf City!

We enjoyed the location and appreciated that the property was clean and cosmetically updated. Check-in was easy, and the host responded quickly when we reached out about towels.Initially, only one towel was provided for two guests over two nights. Additional towels were brought after we asked, but no washcloths were provided. Kitchenware is minimal — just two coffee cups and no utensils — and the only sink is in the bathroom, which can be inconvenient for washing dishes. This wasn’t an issue for us, as we didn’t use the mugs or bring anything that required dishes.We also couldn’t find the dumpster mentioned in the checkout instructions; it may have been located at the other property across the street. A broom and dustpan would be a great addition for managing sand during longer beach stays.Overall, a pleasant short stay, but guests may want to bring their own basic kitchen items.
