The Artist’s Loft is a cozy place for a retreat. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights, but because he fished almost the entire time, I was able to pretend it was my studio. I used my art materials and created. The Artist’s Loft has a balcony which mimics being in a tree house. Hummingbirds and chickadees flew about, and although I couldn’t hear them, Barred Owls often hoot close by. The interior has been lovingly designed with art and artifacts pieces, lovely textiles and striking wood furniture. The coffee table contains the literary periodical, The Sun Magazine. Each issue has wonderful stories so there’s always something to curl up with. I am hoping we will come up again, and will get a chance for a second stay. I recommend this rental for anyone, especially those looking for artistic inspiration!

I really enjoyed this loft . It was cozy , clean and well decorated. I loved sitting outside on the porch . The location is close to all the activities around Torch lake .
