The home appliances were nice. We don't mind an older home but the cleanliness was not satisfactory. Main shower bathroom curtain needed replacement. The coffee maker wasn't single serve, we couldn't find the filter, who has time to learn and look for parts when brewing coffee? Some of the furniture such as the Lazy boy required replacement.
POSITIVES:- The hosts were incredibly friendly, communicative, accommodating and courteous, making our trip an excellent experience.- The property was clean, spacious, and well maintained.- The location is perfect: very close to a gas station and a dollar store for any needed supplies - The Wi-Fi is surprisingly excellent. I was surprised we could stream in HD given the rural location.- Very well stocked with serving supplies and blankets — which came in handy - The master bedroom was very comfortable.- Very affordable price, especially for a space this large.- A lot of land — we were able to socialize outdoors without fear of disturbing neighbors.DRAWBACKS:- The exterior of the home could use some power washing (to be fair, so could ours!)- We blew a fuse trying to use the microwave and a rice cooker (it was fairly easy to reset).- The futons for the other sleeping arrangements are just that — futons. They aren't the most comfortable, but that's to be expected.- Some people ignore the speed limit on their road. The hosts can't do much about this, but there were a few people driving very loudly at night this could wake someone up.OVERALL:This was a great experience, especially for the price. We'll probably try to be back soon!
