The space

The space features a comfortable king bedroom, bunk room, bright coastal living area, dining space, Smart TV, fast WiFi, and dedicated workspace for work or school. The fully stocked kitchen includes cookware, essentials, and a coffee station to help you feel at home during your stay.

WALKABLE HOT SPOTS!
Wake up, pour a coffee, and be in the Pacific before it cools — two easy ways down:

Rock-Step Beach Access — closest, ~1–2 min walk. A public coastal access just south of the home, off S Pacific St between the neighboring houses. A short set of rock steps brings you straight down to the water — the quickest path to the ocean.

Cassidy Street Beach — lifeguarded, ~2–3 min walk. A quieter cove just to the north with a seasonal lifeguard tower, bluff-top benches, and broader sand at low-to-mid tide. The easygoing choice for a longer beach day.

Eat
The Taco Stand (~5 min) — well regarded as the best tacos in San Diego County. Go early to skip the line.

The Privateer Coal Fire Pizza (~7 min) — smoky, blistered pies from a coal-fired oven that’s tended all day and into the evening. Don’t miss the mushroom pizza. Closed Mondays.
Wrench & Rodent Seabasstropub (~4 min) — inventive, sustainable, locally-caught sushi; a North County cult favorite. Closed Mon–Tue.
Beach Break Cafe (~5 min) — the quintessential surf-shack breakfast. Arrive early on weekends.
Best Pizza & Brew (~7 min) — a beloved neighborhood pizzeria; the Detroit-style is the move.

Good to Know (for guests)
The rock-step beach access has a few uneven rock steps and a rockier shoreline — wonderful for tide pools and a quick morning dip, but wear proper shoes and note it’s not ideal for strollers or limited mobility. For the easier, sandier option, Cassidy Street Beach (best at low-to-mid tide) is just a couple minutes north.

Guest access
Guest access- Guests have full private access to the home, patio areas, parking, and all included amenities. Enjoy a relaxed South Oceanside neighborhood just a short walk from the beach, coffee shops, restaurants, and local favorites.

Plentiful street parking on the beach and alley sides. There are a few stairs up from the beach side, and more stairs to access the front door. Your check in code is given before arrival!

Property is an upstairs unit located on off street bike bath, near beaches, Oceanside Harbor, Carlsbad Village, Legoland, and easy freeway access for exploring San Diego.

Other things to note
Optional 6-passenger street-legal golf cart available to rent based on availability. Please message us for details.

Pet Policy: Dogs may be permitted with prior approval. Please contact us before booking if you plan to bring a dog.

Pets must remain inside your designated unit while on the property and should be taken off-site for walks and bathroom breaks.

Pet Fee: $200 per pet

Traveling with family or friends? We offer three nearby 2BR/1BA units and may be able to accommodate larger groups booking multiple units together. Vacation Rental licenses are not active yet, so all bookings must be 30+ days.
