Renovated, sun-filled apartment for 2 people. The apartment was completely renovated in 2022 and refurnished from scratch. The bedroom/living area features a comfortable box-spring bed. The small but well-equipped kitchenette includes a microwave, among other amenities. Two cosy armchairs invite you to relax. From here, you can let your gaze wander out into the garden, spend a cosy evening watching TV, or enjoy your holiday reading.
The brightly tiled bathroom features a low-entry shower
The beach is just a few metres away from here.
The apartment offers free internet access via GermanHotspot, as well as an underground parking space with a clearance height of 149 cm. In addition, a free long-term parking permit is available for the public car park across from the building.


Complex:

The “Jan am Strand” apartment building captivates with its maritime ambiance and is situated in a prime location, immediately behind the dike. The picturesque sandy beach of Döse is just a one-minute walk away. Depending on the apartment’s location, you can enjoy an exclusive view of the International Shipping Route and the Wadden Sea, an UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, on the north side. On the south side, a sun-drenched spot with an enchanting view of the countryside awaits you.

All apartments are comfortable and accessible via lift, and each comes with an assigned underground parking space. Both the apartments and the penthouse units at “Jan am Strand” feature balconies or spacious terraces.

The Spielkogge at the Döse Beach House is within sight, and the expansive “Seeräuber” adventure playground in the spa park as well as the heated seawater outdoor pool on the beach are within walking distance. Washing machines and dryers are available in the building.

From 03.11.2025 through approximately 12.12.2025, the heating and hot water systems at “Jan am Strand” will be replaced.
• Hot Water: A temporary hot water supply will be available during the work. Please note that the water pressure may be lower than usual.
• Heating: During this period, only portable electric heaters (e.g., oil-filled radiators) will be available in the apartments, as central heating will not be possible.
• Noise Disturbance: Due to the dismantling and installation work, construction noise is to be expected during this period.

Das war kein kurzfristiges Problem sondern schon lange vor der Anreise bekannt und bei Abreise noch immer existentes Problem.Internet war meistens ausgefallen und wenn es da war konnte man es nicht benutzen.Musste einen Hotspot mit Daten kaufen.Firma schickt die Rechnung. Außer fehlendes Internet und das unser Auto nicht in die Garage gepasst hat war alles Bestens.

Tolles Appartement, direkt am Strand von Cuxhaven Döse gelegen. Überdachter Balkon, so dass Frühstück draussen jeden Tag möglich war. Für unsere Ansprüche sehr gut. Sehr gut gelegen auch für Radtouren entlang der Küste oder des Cuxhavener Umland.

Top Appartement- Haus

Wir waren das zweite Mal im Haus „Jan am Strand“. Das Appartement dieses Jahr war in einem sehr gepflegten und neuwertigem Zustand. Bei der Ausstattung gab es nichts was fehlte, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster und Eierkocher. Alles in einem gepflegten und sauberen Zustand, sowie reichlich Geschirr und Besteck.
