The perfect spot for a weekend with friends.

We had such a great 3-night stay at The Overlook with friends! The house was beautiful, super comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was really well stocked, and there were lots of little touches throughout the house that made our stay easy and enjoyable. We loved having access to the pickleball courts, hiking trails, and lake, and Schaffer’s Mill was a great location for going to downtown Truckee. It was the perfect spot for a long weekend with friends, and we would definitely stay here again!

Summer trip. Nice place. Responsive host. AC problems fixed right away. Played pickle ball. Used the golf cart. Beach towels were handy.
