Summer: Idealistic summer family vacation.
The complex is just across the street from the lake and the rental comes with access to our walking-distance private beach which has a dock and gazebo dock, a on-water gazebo, picnic tables and a BBQ. Stop by the little ice cream shop in the afternoon on your walk back. Donner Lake is a family and boat friendly lake in the Tahoe National Forest and Recreation area. It is part of the charming town of Truckee- which has become a center for outstanding restaurants, summer outdoor dining and good shopping. Boat, paddle board, wave runner and other water sport rentals a short walk down the street. Bike and other summer sport rentals nearby.

Wintertime: Donner Lake is centrally located between the Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows, Northstar and Sugar Bowl resorts. Ski, board, snowshoe and gear shops, snow mobile rentals, tubing, dog sled and sleigh rides are all nearby.

Sleeps up to 4 adults and up to 4 kids.

Inside the place:
Brand new luxury hotel-like interior. Lake and tree views from every room. Tahoe-modern interior and furnishings. State-of-art electronics. Cable and Wi-Fi throughout. Bosch and Wolf kitchen appliances. Oversized fireplace. Rain showers, two-person jacuzzi-style jet and bubble bathtub. Cable, flat screen TV in every bedroom room. Luxury linens and bedding. Warm, and peaceful throughout.

Family room:
The family room has an oversized fireplace, large Sony flat screen, cable and internet TV with a coordinating blue tooth compatible sound system, and DVD/Blue-ray player. Lots of comfortable leather seating, games and blankets.

Bedroom Configuration:
Bedroom 1: California King bed, flat screen TV, blue ray speakers
Bedroom 2: Queen bed, flat screen TV
Kids Loft Room: 3-4 twin beds. Low ceiling. Great for kids, but not suitable for adults due to low ceiling. Games, Flat screen TV and DVD,/Blue-ray player.

Bathrooms:
Master bath: Integrated into master suite. Rain shower and oversized jet/bubble bath. Separate toilet room.
Second bedroom bath: Deep soaking tub and shower combo. Just across the hall from the bedroom.
Bathroom #3: Rain shower. Custom stone finishes. Serves as the bathroom for the main floor and as a separate bathroom for the kids.

Kitchen:
Top of the line appliances, and kitchen tools. New, modern, dinnerware, silverware, serving pieces, pots and pans, dishes, glassware, separate red and white wine glasses, cookware, bake ware, mixing bowls, measuring cups, cheese grater, peeler, cooking utensils, coffee maker and tea pot. Beaters, blender, waffle maker, fondue set, slow and French oven cookers.

Garage and Parking:
Detached garage with space for one car. Parking lot room for additional cars. Limit 2 additional cars. If you are taking a few days break between activities, the garage has room for you to store your gear.
