This was the perfect place for us to stay. We were in town for a celebration of life, and the space was perfect for talks with a view of the water. We loved taking our coffee down to the locks to watch the boats, salmon, seals and sea lions. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Owner was there for any questions we had but not overbearing. Took pride in making us feel at home ! unit was spotless . Great location and beautiful yard . Will stay here again and would recommend it to everyone.

Our host was exceptionally helpful. She offered wonderful recommendations for restaurants and was very fun. She had every ammenity and even a little treat for us. We loved the spacious accommodations and the bed was wonderful. The pillows were perfect and the bedding super cozy. The procimity to the locks, the beautiful park and delicious breakfast at Portage Bay in Ballard is close and walking there is rasy. We highly recommend dinner at Pink Salt, breakfast at Serrendipity, and of course Petite Pierre Bakery all located in Magnolia. We loved our host and look forward to returning soon. Truly a 5 star accommodation!!!

Great stay! We really enjoyed our time here. It was a good location within a 15-25 minute walk to cool spots in. Ballard by walking through the Ballard locks. The only thing to note is that the walking bridge closes at 9 so if you’re going to be out and about in Ballard you need an uber to get home and those add up price wise. Of course that’s no fault of the host. Everything was great and recommend this stay!

Shannon was a wonderful host. She replied very fast to all our questions, was sure we had accurate information about the property, offered lots of tips about the neighborhood, and provided us with quite a selection of coffee pods. It is just a quick walk down the hill (but a pretty steep hill) to Ballard Locks, which are fascinating, and it's really cool to walk across the locks to the Ballard neighborhood. It's also possible to walk through a neighboring street all the way into Discovery Park (less than a mile to where you can catch a park shuttle). Her garden is lovely. We did not need a full kitchen, so her set up was fine for us (microwave, small frig, coffee maker). Beds were comfy (a sofa bed in one bedroom). We enjoyed the apartment, the view, and some lovely artwork on the walls. And she is right there, upstairs, to answer any questions.

Shannon was an amazing host, and the property is wonderful. We were welcomed with home baked cookies and a big basket of snacks, which my son especially enjoyed. The place is spacious. I love that it is literally a two minute walk away from the Ballard Locks, which is one of my favorite places in the Seattle area. It is also a one minute walk to a bridge into the rainforest that connects to Discovery Park, and I was able to loop back along the shore at low tide. Note that the unit has a microwave and really nice coffee makers and refrigerator, but no stove.
