The moment you step inside, you’ll sense how important it is to us, as your hosts, to provide you with a stylish setting for a perfect holiday on the North Sea. With plenty of character and a charm all its own, the Sturmschwalbe will become your home away from home. After a long day in the fresh air, you can spend relaxing hours by the fireplace on the cosy leather sofa, enjoying a fine glass of wine. The Bose stereo system with CD player or the Teufel internet radio provides the perfect background music. You can also turn your attention to the large TV, which, with a 138 cm screen diagonal, OLED technology, and 4K Infinite Contrast, meets the highest standards. The connected Blu-ray player expands your options. A small collection of feature films is available for him, as well as a selection of board games and a number of good books. The adjacent, light-filled sunroom captures every ray of sunshine and will be your favourite spot in the house when the sun isn’t shining all day long. Even when a heavy summer rain is pelting down on the glass roof while you’re enjoying a hot cup of tea, you’ll love the sunroom. When the weather is nice, our idyllic garden invites you to linger. Relax and unwind in the beach chair or on one of the sun loungers. For endless barbecue fun, use the smoker or the Weber grill (Master-Touch GBS, 57 cm diameter). The excellent kitchen amenities give you the freedom to prepare your own meals according to your wishes, without the constraints of a hotel. Our guests have access to a complete line of Miele appliances in the exclusive, designer kitchen: featuring a large, high-end refrigerator and a separate freezer (approx. 80 l), an oven with Clean-Steel stainless steel finish, a large induction cooktop (saving approx. 50 to 60% cooking time) with a keep-warm function, a decorative wall-mounted glass/stainless steel range hood, and an XXL dishwasher at a comfortable operating height. Coffee lovers can choose from our coffee maker, a pod machine, or the espresso machine, depending on their preference. A microwave, electric kettle, toaster, egg cooker, food processor, bread slicer, hand blender, waffle maker, electric citrus juicer, as well as an abundant supply of elegant Friesland porcelain tableware and an exceptionally large number of glasses are also provided. Upstairs, the three bedrooms offer the utmost comfort for sleeping and dreaming in the wonderfully peaceful setting of the Sturmschwalbe. All bedrooms are equipped with double beds, high-quality mattresses, hypoallergenic extra-large duvets (155 cm × 220 cm), and a flat-screen TV. As a highlight for relaxation, you’ll also find our “Helo” sauna/infrared/steam sauna (210 x 210 cm) on the upper floor. A small whirlpool with 30 air jets offers even more relaxation. If needed, a Miele washing machine and a Miele clothes dryer are available in the utility room. A garage with storage space is integrated into the house. The windows and patio door are fitted with high-quality insect screens. Underfloor heating ensures cosy warmth in every season. Wi-Fi and phone connections to the German landline network are included, as is exclusive use of our seasonal beach chair by the sea. Please note that the “Sturmschwalbe” is a non-smoking apartment. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted. With its fireplace, sauna, whirlpool, underfloor heating, light-filled sunroom, and high-end entertainment electronics, the “Sturmschwalbe” is also an excellent retreat for relaxing days during the off-season.
