The Location
This high-quality corner apartment with a view of the harbour is located on the third floor of the building and offers views to both the east and west. Wismar’s Old Harbour, one of the Hanseatic city’s most attractive spots, lies right at your feet. From here, you can easily explore the city and its beautiful surroundings. By the way, the Old Harbour is also a very popular venue for events and festivals.
Wismar’s historic Old Town is only about a 10-minute walk away. Here you’ll find numerous shopping options, restaurants, and cafés, a vibrant selection of leisure activities and nightlife, as well as sights and day-trip destinations. The city on the Baltic Sea and its events—such as the Swedish Festivals or the Harbour Days—attract over 500.000 visitors annually. The island of Poel is perfect for long beach walks. Here, you can stroll along the coast for hours in any weather and let the wind blow through your hair.

The Amenities
This bright and modern non-smoking apartment features underfloor heating, free Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped open kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator, a stove with 2 glass-ceramic burners and an oven, a coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, and hand blender. The separate bedroom features a comfortable box-spring double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and a 40-inch flat-screen TV. The combined living and dining area features a flat-screen TV (40 inches), a stereo system, and a single sleeper sofa (1.20 x 1.95 m). The apartment includes a safe large enough for a laptop up to approximately 17 inches. The modern bathroom features a walk-in rain shower, a sink, a toilet, a towel warmer, and a hair dryer.

Please note that this is a non-smoking apartment and pets are welcome. A high chair and a cot can be reserved for a fee.

Special Features
Our team warmly welcomes you at the front desk in the neighbouring Upstalsboom Krusespeicher. The Krusespeicher features a sauna area that is available free of charge to guests of the holiday apartments. The area spans two levels and includes two Finnish saunas, a bio sauna, and a relaxation room.
A public car park and a public car park (both for a fee) are located in the immediate vicinity. A washing machine and dryer are available for your use in the apartment complex. A clothes drying rack is provided in your apartment. Lockable bicycle storage is available.

In addition, a bread roll service is available for a fee—simply order at the front desk and pick it up the next morning in the Krusespeicher’s Living Room. There you’ll also find vending machines for speciality coffees, breakfast items, and snacks.

The linens package per person per stay is included for you! It includes one hand towel, one bath towel, bed linens, and one shower mat per bathroom. Upon request, our on-site team will also be happy to provide additional sets of bed linens and hand towels for a fee.

The Upstalsboom holiday apartments at the Krusespeicher are situated in a prime location at the tip of Wismar’s Old Harbour and within walking distance of the Old Town. You’ll find 35 modern one- and two-bedroom apartments accommodating up to three people. The historic apartment building is located right next to the Upstalsboom Krusespeicher, which is also a historic landmark and has been lovingly renovated. This former grain silo, which houses 41 additional apartments, features a shared reception area and a sauna area that you can use free of charge. You’ll also find a lockable storage room for bicycles at the Krusespeicher, where you can safely store your bikes.

All apartments feature Wi-Fi, underfloor heating, and high-quality furnishings and amenities. The harmonious colour scheme creates a sense of well-being and modern cosiness. The holiday complex offers an lift as well as a washing machine and dryer for your travel laundry. The lift system provides barrier-free and comfortable access to the apartments. The chocolate shop “Chocohelden” invites you to enjoy handmade pralines, hot chocolate, and sweet treats in its café area with an outdoor terrace. For those who prefer savoury fare, there’s the new Speicherladen, offering delicacies, regional products, tarte flambée, Kaiserschmarrn, and drinks—all homemade with ingredients from the region. The nearby Ohlerich Speicher is home to an Italian restaurant with a sun terrace, and just a few steps further on, TV chef Steffen Henssler runs one of his popular “Ahoi” restaurants, serving maritime cuisine in a relaxed, inviting atmosphere.
