House is well stocked/ decorated/cleaned. Owner is prompt in responding to messages. Excellent location. Close to everything/quite. Access to the garage was great. Outdoor lights at night would improve the walk from the garage to the front door. Had issues during our stay. Some addressed quickly and others had to wait until we left. We ended up leaving early due to some issues. The air conditioning vents in the second floor bedrooms were blocked by beds. It was over 80 degrees on the second floor the first night. We had to sleep in the basement at 58 degrees. The second floor bathroom had no window covering for privacy. The shower in the basement didn't have hot water the entire time we were there. The curtain rod was pulled down in a bedroom. The owner brought in a portable air conditioning unit, curtain rod, and blind for the bathroom the following morning. A storm came through and blew the vent out of the window. With more storms in the forecast, we couldn't be sure the air conditioning would work properly. A big hole in the basement ceiling where a vent should be remained open. Hand towels in bathrooms for hand washing would be nice. Directions to work TV would be helpful. Messaged owner concerns and fixed what he could. However, he stated "both bathrooms are functional" until he inspected it and found out we were telling the truth and "none one else has complained" about the air conditioning. Dismissing renters concerns are not ok when they are facts that he verified.
