A close neighbor to Austin, this Lago Vista waterfront cottage is equipped with all of your favorite amenities! Bright and modernly updated, the interior boasts an open-concept layout overlooking picturesque views of the spacious yard and water. When you aren't hanging out here, settle down under the twinkle lights in the Adirondack chairs on the patio or take a rest on the tree hammock. You can also take a walk to the lake, try your luck fishing, or simply enjoy the breeze and sunset on the newly added two-level private dock. (Dock comes with a single SUP board, an adult kayak, and a youth kayak. Dock's boat lift is out of commission. Watercraft can tie up to cleats outside of the boat slip only right now.)

When you get hungry, the fully equipped kitchen displays a suite of stainless steel appliances and ample meal prep space. The dining options consist of a quaint breakfast bar and a large dining table.

Down the hall, the bedrooms are equally inviting, both adorned with soft linens and central air. Off the primary bedroom, appreciate having access to a gorgeous ensuite bathroom showcasing gold finishes, a large vanity, and a walk-in shower. A private washer/dryer and smart TVs round out the marvelous interior amenities.

View from living area was amazing, tubes, paddle board and kayaks were great, we swam all weekend in the calm water, and patio was amazing with the shade tree in the morning and evenings

Property is as advertised. The house was clean and all necessary amenities were available. Host also provided lifevests in numerous sizes, floaties, small intertubes and pool noodles. Grill was clean and good sized. Outdoor furntiture was well maintained. The dock looked as though it hadn't been tended too in quite a while. Massive spiderwebs were everywhere. Also the yard needed some attention although there has been some consistent rains in the week leading up to our stay. All in all, we had a very enjoyable time.

Overall great property with amazing views. Our only advice is that if you plan on bringing a boat, you better have great backing abilities. The road is narrow and there's not many places to turn around. The way the driveway is angled, you can only back in from the opposite direction that you drive in and it's very narrow. We have a 24' ski boat and it was a challenge. Also, you're not allowed to use the boat lift at the dock so you have to tie up. Where this house sits is in a fairly busy boat traffic area and if there is a southern wind, it gets very choppy. They did have 3 round buoy's that helped but it was sketchy for awhile when it was busy on the lake. That being said, the property was great and the house was clean, with the exception of millions of flying bugs at night, but hey, that's lake life!! Spider webs at the dock were insane, but again, not out of the ordinary for the lake. I certainly don't want anyone deterred from renting here but these are things I would have liked to know prior to renting.

We had such a nice time! We spent a lot of our time on the upper deck admiring the lake and drinking coffee, playing board games. It’s the perfect little escape for a weekend. We weren’t able to use the dock due to some super intense weather but it looked like that would’ve been super fun! Thanks for a great stay!

Great view!

Loved the view of the lake from the living room and primary bedroom. Very large, modern primary shower. Also the gazebo with zipped-down screening was an awesome place to sit out at night.

Lakefront cottage Lago Vista Texas

We love the back deck. I sat out there every single morning listening to the birds watching the wildlife looking at the lake and doing my devotions it was so peaceful. I also sat out there every evening watching the sunset and the moon rise it was just amazing. The spectacular thing for some reason there were no butts no mosquitoes no bugs at all. We loved our stay.

This house was comfortable and extremely well-built/good looking. The towel racks were not loose/rickety and the whole thing was solid/well maintained. It is far enough away from the rest of Lago that it wasn't crowded, but close enough to go to the Lucky Rabbit and Burger Bar (highly recommend both).Beautiful tree covered porch, over-looking the lake with bird feeder/birds and deer walking by.The house was cool enough inside to beat the super-hot outside (thank you Summer 2026).Easy walk to the water to float and relax. Bottom was mostly grass/silt with a few rocks (not much silt).The pictures are not deceiving, at all.Neighbors were quiet.p.s the master bath shower is REALLY nice!

Cute and peaceful property on Lake Travis. Deck and outdoor space was awesome. We saw tons of wildlife around the property including mom and baby deer right in the yard. Kayaks on property for guests to use which was a lot of fun. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area!
